Welcome to our lovely and cosy cottage with hilly natural plot and three lovely patios in different directions, just an hour by car from Stockholm. 150 mts to a magical swimming lake with jetty, raft, and an adjacent small beach strip for small children.

This vacation home has all the comforts you might need for a comfortable dwelling such as Wi-Fi, TV, air heating pump, open fireplace, cooker together with a well-equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher from 2021 and bathroom/WC with shower and washing machine from 2020.
Bodatorp is a quiet holiday home area with a beautiful forest lake and a bay with a sandy beach within bicycle distance. The forest is in a direct connection to the plot where you will meet nature.

You enter the cottage via the stairs which lead you to the entrance and a large terrasse with evening sunshine. Here is a dinner table and 4 chairs. Through the front door and next to the hallway is the well-equipped kitchen with a smaller dining table and two chairs. Open planning towards the hallway, the small bedroom and bathroom and part of the living room. From the kitchen door you reach a smaller roofed terrasse, furniture with dining table and chairs for 6 persons together with a barbeque.
From the hallway it's four steps up to the living room where also the loft is located and is open to the brim. In the living room there is a centrally located fireplace together with a corner sofa, armchair and TV. Here you can sit down with a good book as there are well-stocked bookshelves with varied content and board games.
An inviting place to settle down if it gets chilly in the evening after a barbeque dinner on the terrace.

The cottage has two bedrooms; one bedroom in the adjoining loft with stairs from the living room, furnished with a double bed 2x90x200 and two chest of drawers for clothes. Open planning.
The other bedroom is smaller and more traditional, has a bunk bed 2x90x200 cm. together with smaller clothes storage. In the living room there is also an armchair bed. From the living room you can access the terrace with plenty of sunshine. Here there is a corner sofa, table together with sunbeds and two armchairs and a parasol.

The large plot is a hilly natural plot, for the older children there is a trampoline, but no safety net. On the way to the lake, 50 mts from the cottage you pass a lovely lawn area suitable for ball games and a boules court. Here is a traditional midsummer celebrated with dancing around the maypole, games, and music.
By the lake you can spot both ospreys and cranes. The jetty by the lake is also a perfect place for fishing or a picnic in the evening sunshine. The water in the lake rises up to at least 25 degrees during summer.
A longer walk or a short bicycle ride, circa 1,5km away there are sea baths with a sandy beach and rocks.

By Sollenkroka jetty (10 minutes by car)/Stavsnäs marina (circa 20 minutes) you can take a regular archipelago boat for excursions to other islands.

By Djurö centre (10 minutes) is a supermarket, medical care centre, garden shop, restaurant, bakery etc. At Djurö is also the Vita grindarna with a swimming beach and a small miniature golf course together with a café and restaurant at a large terrasse towards the sea with evening sunshine.
Motorverkstans Bistro and bar is located by the boatyard with serving on the jetty.
A bit further away towards Djuröbron (15 minutes) you will find Djurönäsets sjökrog (lake tavern) which has musical entertainment in the evening sunshine several days a week during high summer together with the public park Folkparken with established artists. Djurönäset also has a bathhouse and spa facility.
Riding stables Skaft (10 minutes) and nearby not to forget Glassvillan (The Ice cream villa) with its award-winning ice creams together with Outlet and have their own police cars and fire engines which the children can try out. Here you can also play a game of Padel

Distance to Stockholm 47km. By car circa 50 minutes, bus from Slussen about 70 minutes.
