The cottages with a fantastic environment with rural idyll and lovely walking areas and only 3km from lake Rusken. From Ekhult, you have 5 minutes to the beach by car or bicycle. Bicycles are available for rent and lovely walking areas in its vicinity. Rusken is one of Sweden's best lakes for zander fishing. 2 Linde Fishing boats are available for rent, fully equipped for successful fishing. Fishing licenses can be purchased online. Or why not discover Rusken around by bicycle. The Rusken Runt cycle path and the Västra Sigfridsleden pilgrimage path pass Svensbygd's viewpoint. It is a wonderful trip to drive or cycle around the entire lake and discover beautiful places, artisans and a fantastic nature. End the day in the nice wood-burning sauna. New sauna unit that guarantees easy and quick heating for an unbeatable experience. With an outdoor shower nearby and a barbecue area for a wonderful nature experience. There is almost everything here, small football field, trampoline, swing for the little ones and the proximity to the forest where you can pick berries and mushrooms. From here you can also reach Astrid Lindgren's World, High Chaparall and the Kingdom of Glass in Småland. As well as many of Småland's and the region's gems. In the house there are also beds for children of all ages, e.g. cot, changing table, etc. In one of the houses there is an office and in both houses there is a high-speed connection to the internet via fibre. Separate bedrooms – The main house - On the upper floor are the bedrooms, 1 bedroom with double bed, 1.8x2.0m and 1 bedroom with 1 bunk bed 0.8mx2.0m. The small house - Upstairs there is a large bedroom with a double bed, 1.8x2.0m and 2 beds 0.9mx2.0m. Blanket and pillows are included, bed linen and 4 sets of towels can be borrowed for a fee.
TV – TV – Flat TV which is connected to Apple TV or Chrome-Cast can be found in the common room on the ground floor in both houses.

Hiking trails – Hiking trails - Nydalaleden - along ancient roads Markaryd-Ljungby-Värnamo to Nydala Kloster. Here you walk along a road that has been used since the first people began to populate Sweden around 10,000 years ago. You travel in both time and space along a road that has been Sweden's most important since ancient times. The trail largely runs parallel to the river Lagan. Welcome to an enjoyable walk along a historic road through a living landscape.
