Large apartment in villa, Gamleby, Småland

Welcome to rent a spacious upper floor in our newly built villa. There are three bedrooms, a living room and a large kitchen with dining area as well as a bathroom with double sinks. Downstairs there is an entrance, wc and laundry room. We also use the downstairs, but we will be careful not to disturb you.

7-10 beds are available, but for larger groups it is possible to rent a room downstairs with 3 extra beds.

Large balcony, barbecue, outdoor furniture and garden. Toys and books/magazines are available and TV with Netflix, Viaplay, Discovery+ etc. (but not sports package). Parking space available.

It is walking distance to everything the center has to offer with restaurants, shops, the harbour, swimming areas, Garpedansberget/Trollskogen and one of Sweden's few triangular squares with picturesque surroundings.

Gamleby is an old village and writings have been found about the village from the 13th century. Then it was called Westerwijk and in the 15th century Westerwijk had to move to where Västervik is now. Gamleby also has one of the country's largest concentrations of rock paintings. Nearby, you can also go to Casimirsborg, where remains from the Bronze Age have been found.

We are a family with pets and a little boy of four years. We live alternately in Gamleby and Härjedalen. My mother lives in a separate apartment in the house with her cat.

Pets are of course welcome in all their forms. They can be on the sofas and one of the beds. There are special bedding for those who want their pet in the bed where pets are allowed.

The house was completed in 2023 and is of a high standard, but we will not be able to guarantee that it is completely free of dog hair and maybe the occasional stain or speck of dust if you look. But of course it is clean and fresh, just not hotel or pedant standard.

This is included in the rent:

-Towels for kitchen/bath/toilet, soap, toilet paper, washing-up tablets

-Final cleaning
-Bed linen

Final cleaning: 1000sek
Bed linen: 50/person
Extra bedroom on the lower floor with 4 beds (not always available, however): SEK 3,000/week

Quiet parties are allowed, but only after agreement with us. Should a party be held without permission or if it disturbs neighbors or something else that is noticeable, a fee of SEK 2,000 + costs for any damage/wear and tear will be added.
