Charming cottage in a rural setting

Welcome to the farm Ytterby which is centrally located in Östergötland, about 20 km southeast of Linköping. Here you live in a 19th century cottage with history as a brewery and farmhouse. Recently it has been renovated and now has all the amenities you want. The cottage is perfect for the small family who wants to get out in the country to a relaxed and quiet environment with views of fields, pastures and forests.

Broadband with wi-fi is installed. Access to garden land / herb land where, depending on the season, there are different vegetables, salads and spices. Duvets and pillows are available. Feel free to bring your own sheets / towels, otherwise it is available for rent. Garden furniture and charcoal grill are available. Children's equipment such as a cot and high chair are available.

Nearby are several nice farm shops, including Stora Björksved, Norrbygård and not least Herrsäter Kungsgård where you can buy their award-winning cheesecake that has won the Swedish Championships in food crafts twice.

Fishing license for Värnässjön can be bought by the landlord, rowing boat can be borrowed. In the lake there are i.a. pikeperch, perch and pike.
Fine golf courses are available i.a. in Åtvidaberg (with the famous golf hole Långa sjö), Vårdsberg and Landeryd.

In Linköping there are plenty of excursion destinations, some of which are the most famous are the Air Force Museum, Old Linköping and Valla Open Air Museum. Just outside Linköping is Ljungsbro with Berg's locks and Cloettafabriken with factory sales of chocolate.


Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with stove, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator with freezer, microwave, coffee maker and wood stove and all kitchen utensils needed.

Living room: Sofa bed that can be folded out to a 140-bed with room for two. Bed mattress available. TV with Chromecast so you can stream series and movies from all streaming services (not antenna connected). Fireplace.

Bedroom: Double bed 180 cm and a single bed 90 cm and cot with or without high side. Cot available.

Upper hall: Two-seater sofa and a desk with screen where you can connect your computer.

Bathroom: Modernly equipped bathroom with water closet, sink and shower.

The cottage is cleaned by the tenant on departure. Cleaning can be purchased for a fee of SEK 1,000. Handover day Sunday. Check-out 12:00 PM, Check-in from 03.00 PM.

Bathing place: Smaller bathing place 3.5 km (car 5 minutes), larger bathing places in Grebo / Björsäter about 8-10 km (car 10-12 minutes).
