Welcome to our summer paradise on the island of Vindö, in the Stockholm archipelago. This is the place to enjoy a fabulous vacation just 100 meters away from the sea. Close to a child-friendly beach. The perfect place for a quick swim before breakfast. It is close so several other bathing spots, both in the sea or in a lake. Choose the one that is best for you. The house is situated high with a private atmosphere, with the sun from morning to evening. Explore everything that Vindö has to offer or take a tour out to Sandhamn or Möja. Or why not a trip into Stockholm and visit Gröna lund or Skansen. There is a bus line close by that runs straight to Slussen with SL. Alternatively you can also drive your car the whole way.
The house, renovated in 2021, has a 55 m2 open plan design on a single floor with a nice social area. It has large windows that creates fantastic lighting giving a connection to the outdoors from the inside. From the living room, you have direct access to a veranda and patio area. It is a private area, where you can enjoy the sun from sunrise to sunset. The nature is just outside the doorstep with birds and other animal life. This is a place to relax and enjoy your vacation. If you want some exercise, there are several roads for a walk or a run.
The house has 2 bedrooms, one that can sleep up to three people with a double bed and a loft bed. The second bedroom can sleep two people in a bunk bed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC and a zink. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, stove, oven, and a microwave. The kitchen is open towards the dining area and living room. The dining area sits 6-8 people.. There is a large open fire place in the living room. Vindö is a part of Värmdö municipality in the Stockholm archipelago. It is a quiet area with a smaller community (Djurö) just ten kilometers away. There you will find a grocery store, bakery, libary and heath care facilities. Close by, you will find several restaurants and excursion destinations. At a walking distance you will find the local convenience store, Abborrkrokens Handel & Bar. In addition to some necessary groceries, here you can eat, take a glass of beer/wine in the sunset, or eat an ice-cream on the pier watching the boats sail by. Don´t miss out Glasshuset (the house of ice-cream) a nice destination especially for the kids.

Wonderful summerhouse in fantastic location! Hidden on a little hill in the green of trees, sun all day, but shadow places as well, relaxing in the hammock our in the lounge chairs, going for a swim on a 3 minute walk to barnviken with cliffs and sandy beach and a ponton, nice running trails, fishing at Överby brygga, direct bus connection to Stockholm. This house is the perfect location for a fantastic holiday in the Stockholm archipelago. The house is well equipped, two bedrooms, open and bright living room, kitchen with all you need, nice terrace. We missed nothing and feel very welcome, host is reachable by phone if there are questions. Warmest recommendation!

Underbart ställe ! Kan rekommenderas varmt. Möjligen kan den branta backen vara jobbig för somliga.
Huset perfekt utrustat och smakfullt. Badet nära, fantastiskt med badrocksavstånd.
Abborr Krogen väl värt många besök.

Var här i en vecka i juli med min son och vi skapade så fina minnen ihop.
Stugan har allt man kan tänkas behöva. Ligger belägen på en höjd som ger en vacker utsikt från altanen.
Nära till badvänligt strand som vi var vid varje dag.
Värden hade dessutom ordnat med isglas och en uppblåsbar lite badpool.
Hit kommer vi gärna igen.

Hyrt stugor på Vindö i ett antal år då det är min personliga favoritdel av Stockholms skärgård. Av alla stugor jag hyrt var detta i särklass bästa. Här är inget lämnat åt slumpen. Stugan är väldigt smakfullt inredd och köket är så välutrustat att man vill nypa sig armen och undra om det är verklighet. Stort plus att det fanns ett välfyllt skafferi med oljor, kryddor, kaffefilter och annat som värden generöst erbjuder en att utnyttja. Alla inventarier i bra skick. Finns både AC och värme. Jag uppskattade inomhusmiljön i denna stuga väldigt mycket, och utsikten mot skogen var mycket rogivande både inifrån och utifrån huset. Mysig eldstad. Stugan ligger på en hög kulle så det är nog inte passande för riktigt små barn, men det funkade för mina 4-åringar. Tomten är lite liten och inte riktigt en yta där barn kan leka, men det finns utmärkta bad och lekområden i närheten, så det gjorde inget. Det är ingen insyn från det övre huset. Kommer gärna tillbaka till detta paradis om vi får chansen!
