A Quiet and Cozy Cottage in the Archipelago

A peaceful and inviting cottage, perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. The house overlooks an open field and serves as our family’s second home, offering plenty of space for children to explore and play.

The surrounding area is ideal for morning runs, scenic walks, and discovering nearby swimming spots. A wonderful base for enjoying the Swedish archipelago at a relaxed pace.

During the summer season, bookings are generally Sunday–Sunday.

Communication in Swedish is welcome.

The Space

The cottage is approximately 60 m² and features a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a dining table seating 6–8 guests.

There are three bedrooms and five beds in total:
• Two bedrooms, each with a double bed
• One bedroom with one single bed and one bunk bed

There is a covered terrace with chairs, as well as two outdoor dining areas with furniture. The house enjoys morning sun at the rear and evening sun at the front, making it easy to follow the sun throughout the day.

Guest Access

Guests have access to all areas inside the cottage, with the exception of the attic and garden shed, which are locked.

The cellar is fully accessible and contains the barbecue, children’s toys, and sports equipment, all of which guests are welcome to use during their stay.

Getting Around

• Off street parking is available for 2–3 cars
• Travel time from central Stockholm is approximately 50 minutes outside rush hour
• A bus stop is located 5 minutes’ walk from the cottage, with a journey time of around 60 minutes to/from Stockholm
• The harbour is a 15 minute walk away, offering excursions to other islands in the archipelago
• The nearest supermarket, ICA Nära, along with a bakery and other services, is about 10 minutes by car
• On the way from Stockholm, you’ll pass Gustavsberg shopping centre. From there, it’s a further 30 minutes to the cottage
• ICA Maxi is located in Gustavsberg and is ideal for online pre orders for quick pick up or home delivery directly to the cottage

Other Things to Note

Available in the house:
• Coffee machine with filters
• Duvets and pillows for all guests
• Cleaning products

Towels and bed linen can be provided upon request for an additional fee.

As this is a self catered stay, final cleaning (slutstädning) is not included in the rental price and guests are expected to clean the house before departure.

Please note that there is no washing machine available.
