Welcome to Lilla Stenkulla, a charming and thoughtfully decorated archipelago house on the car-free island of Stegesund, located just 10 minutes by boat from Vaxholm and approximately one hour from central Stockholm.

Here, you live in complete seclusion on your own 2,000 m² waterfront property with a private jetty, a small sandy beach, sun-warmed rocks, and fantastic views over the sea. This is the perfect summer accommodation for couples and smaller families seeking tranquility, nature, and the authentic Swedish archipelago.

Private jetty, sea views, and multiple outdoor patio areas

Start your day with a morning dip from the jetty, enjoy breakfast on the veranda overlooking the water, and spend the afternoon in a lounge chair by the sea.

The large, private, and unoverlooked property features generous lawn areas, multiple patios, and a barbecue deck with a dining area for six people. There is plenty of space for both relaxation and summer dinners.

Charming and well-equipped accommodation

The house is 40 m² and features a romantic, personalized interior with beautiful details and sea views from both the bedroom and the living room.

There is one separate bedroom, two additional beds in an open hallway upstairs, and a sofa bed in the living room. The house accommodates up to six people but is particularly well suited for two to four guests.

Facilities include a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, stove, oven, fridge/freezer, and microwave, as well as a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Additionally, there is a wood-burning stove, Smart TV, wireless 4G internet, and a gas grill.

Bed linen, towels, and final departure cleaning are included in your stay.

Discover Vaxholm and the Stockholm archipelago

Stegesund is a car-free island featuring beautiful turn-of-the-century architecture and a peaceful archipelago environment.

From the island, you can easily take an archipelago ferry or a water taxi to Vaxholm, which offers a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, shops, and local services. There are also regular boat connections to Stockholm and further out into the archipelago.

For those who wish to explore the archipelago on their own, a Buster L motorboat with a 50 hp engine is available for rent upon agreement.

The island offers scenic walking paths and a communal tennis court. Nearby activities include golf, fishing, kayaking, and guided fishing trips.
