Within an hour you go to Linköping with the Air Force Museum and Old Linköping,
Sankt Anna, Gryt-, Gamleby- and Västervik archipelago and many other places worth a visit.

From Åtvidaberg, highway 35 against Västervik, turn left to Valdemarsvik, Falerum.
After about 10 km turn left towards Gärdserum (gravel road), go 2
km, at the sign "Bo i Gärdserum" turn left immediately after, go into the yard, here it is (before the church).
