Go down and take a dip at the shared sandy beach, equally wonderful regardless of the season.
Enjoy endless walking paths or a quiet moment on the veranda.
Cycle paths and ski slopes, most things are within reach here. Enjoy a warm SPA bath in winter or a cool one in the summer heat.
Here you get accommodation close to everything but at the same time secluded.
The property consists of three houses.
THE LARGE COTTAGE (40 sq m):
This is the main house and the building that has existed the longest, built in the 60s.
Here is the kitchen, with preserved charm and a focus on simplicity and function. Fridge/freezer, sink for washing up by hand, we have not installed a dishwasher - otherwise fully equipped for cooking.
Bright living room with a view of the forest and sea.
The sofa can be made out and has space for 2 people, armchairs and TV (basic selection + Netflix).
Dining area for 4–6 people
Two small bedrooms. The rooms have comfortable 90 cm beds and storage.

NEWLY BUILT HOUSE (30 sqm):
In contrast to the 60s cottage, this house is modern in both style and comfort. The house was built in 2024 and has an ambition to blend in with the surrounding nature. From the bed, sofa or shower, it is close to the pine trees, the mountain, the sea and the sky.
Fully tiled bathroom with shower and toilet. Underfloor heating and towel dryer.
Studio - a large room with a combined living and sleeping area.
A double bed 180 cm (can be divided into two 90-cm beds).
The sofa can be made into a 140 cm wide bed.

GUEST CABIN (approx. 10 sq m):
This small guest cabin can accommodate overnight guests. The room can also be a good secluded workplace for those who prefer.
Family bed (140 cm below + 90 cm above)

A path leads from the plot down to the beach and piers, approx. 200 meters.

15 minutes to Norrtälje with cafes, shops, restaurants, culture, gym etc.
5 minutes to Vreta Handel (general store, pizzeria, petrol)
Nice excursion destinations: Gräddö, Lidö, Arholma, Saltkråkan (Norröra), Rödlöga etc.
15-30 minutes to ski slopes, golf course, horseback riding etc.
And as I said - a two-minute walk to the sea via a forest path. There is a shared sandy beach and piers to swim from.

Drive E18 towards Norrtälje. Turn off towards Kapellskär, drive 8 km and turn off towards Björknäs/Vreta handel. Follow Stora Björknäsvägen for 5 km, turn left towards Sollarö/Björnö. After 1 km, turn into Björnösund Södra. Take the last left down a small gravel road, follow the sign "12a". Welcome!

A very nice place to stay! It is good to be aware of the separate cottages, especially with young children. In each cottage there are 2 beds. The ‘old’ cottage is basic but has everything you need. The kitchen could have been cleaner. The new cottage is very nice and of course the hottub outside is a big plus!

Supermysigt ställe nära havet. Ett av husen är i princip helt nytt, modernt och väldigt bekvämt. Vi njöt särskilt av jacuzzin utomhus medan vi tittade på stjärnorna. De andra hus har cool retrokänsla, det gillade vi också. Det ligger väldigt nära Norrtälje, som är en jättefin liten stad och inte alls långt från Stockholm heller. Vi tyckte också om närheten till Kappelskärs hamn pga att vi reste från Estland. Naturen där är vacker, skogen var full av blåbär, lingon och svamp att plocka och havet full av fisk (massor av abborre) så en del av maten fick vi från naturen varje dag :D Hela området är väldigt lugnt och grannarna vänliga. Värden är också hjälpsam och tog sig tid att välkomna oss på kvällen av vår ankomst för att visa runt och förklara allt i detalj och även fixade barnstolar för oss vilket vi verkligen uppskattade! Skulle starkt rekommendera detta till alla som vill ha en lugn semester i naturen. Vi var två familjer med 1-åriga barn och var supernöjda med allt :) Stort tack!

Haft en härlig helg i stugan. Väldig nära vattnet med en liten strand och med tillgång till en lättmanövrerad båt. Vi var ute och fiskade och njöt av naturen som hade ett rikt djurliv. Boendet var enkelt men exakt allt vi behövde fanns. Stugan ligger mitt i ett skogsparti, en kväll när vi satt ute och åt vandrade en älg förbi.

Vi hade en härlig vecka i stugan och tog flera fina utflykter med båten. Perfekt med en liten sovstuga på tomten där barnen sov. Stugan ligger också nära Norrtälje och Gräddö så det var lätt att göra utflykter. Kommer gärna tillbaka!

Välfungerande (retro)stuga med en mysig gässtuga på en ostörd tomt. Sköna sängar.
Kort promenad till en liten fin badstrand, gott med aborre i. Välskött fotbollsplan i närheten.
