This fabulous house was completely renovated and extended in 2013
The plot is unusually large and perfect for exploring the exciting, Swedish forest filled with mushrooms, blueberries, wildlife and fauna.


The house itself has open plan living areas combining kitchen, sitting and dining which in turn are directly connected to a large and expansive deck, partly roofed.

At the far end of the deck is a 16m2 pavilion with glass sliding doors where you can enjoy your dinner, should the evening be a little too chilly to sit outside.

On the deck we have a gas BBQ, deck chairs, dining table and areas to relax with a book, cup of tea or a drink in either morning or evening sun.

There are beds for 10 people in total. The bedrooms are located at the back of the house on both floors with the 28m2 master bedroom being on the ground floor. This large king size bedroom also has doors leading on to the deck which faces SE, perfect for a morning cup of tea or your breakfast! On the ground floor is also the child´s bedroom with a single bed. Between these two bedrooms is the TV lounge with a large sofa and wide screen TV and this is also where you will find the bathroom with under floor heating, walk-in shower, loo, basin, washing machine and drier. There is an additional guest loo with basin situated by the entrance hall.
Upstairs are three bedrooms with double beds (180x200, 160x200 and 140 x 200).

Behind the house and perched on top of the rock is a fabulous and old timbered house, the Eagle's Nest. There is one room, electricity (but no water), a fire place as well as a small double bed (120 x 200). If you really want a wonderful night´s sleep, the Eagle´s Nest is the place to be!

The large and modern kitchen is fully equipped. This is our family home so you will find all possible gadgets and equipment such as gas hob with 6 burners and electrical double oven, dubble fridge/freezers, 7m of work surface, all glasses, cutlery, crockery etc as well as a corner larder. We also have a really great Nespresso coffee machine, mixers and blenders etc.etc.
The dining table seats 12 and there is also a relax sofa corner and the typical Swedish wood burning stove.

A few minutes walk away you will have access to 2 absolutely wonderful lakes- they are just perfect for swimming as they warm up much quicker than the sea.
One of them also has a sandy beach and is very suitable for younger children. Here you will get afternoon and evening sun, making it a lovely place for pre-dinner swim/drinks or a pick nick! You will often find you are the only people there….There is also a path through the woods, leading to swimming rocks that face Nämndöfjärden with an incredible view over the archipelago.

We have 2 very good golf courses near by: Fågelbro Golf & Country Club as well as Värmdö golf. Locally, we have small stable with ponies where you can get lessons or just book a guided ride through the woods. There are some bus connections to Stockholm locally but very few and I would advice a car.
Cost / week in June, July and August: 28,000.00 Swedish Kronor. Minimum rental: 2 weeks.
