Käckskär Nämdö. Lake plot fantastic sea view

This unique and beautiful property is situated in a peaceful and tranquil area right on the beach. Two houses, two jetties and a panoramic view sauna make up this incredible place.

The house is situated in a quiet spot and has the most spectacular water views and sun from morning to evening. The island of Käckskär is beautifully situated between the larger islands Runmarö and Nämndö, and is accessible by regular taxi boat which will take you directly to the private jetty.

The main building is well planned and despite its modest size gives you a feeling of space and openness. There are three bedrooms, one has a double bed and the other two are equipped with bunkbeds. The kitchen in well-equipped and the dining area seats up to 6 people. The open plan design of the living room and the panoramic windows facing the water give the space an incredible feeling. There is also an open fireplace which you may light up for that cosy and snug atmosphere.

You can access the outside deck on the waterfront side which is secluded and private. Here you will find outdoor furniture and a large size barbeque. This spectacular spot is completely sun-drenched and you can sit here all day just enjoying the views. The entire deck is fenced.

Adjacent to the main building is s smaller building with a composting toilet, shower and washing machine.

Below the house by the beach there is a 15-square meter guest house sleeping four people in two bunkbeds.

A wood fire auna with panoramic windows and views of the Bullandö archipelago is available for usage. Fire up the sauna, jump in the water from the private jetty and then go in to the sauna and warm up again -absolutely heavenly and very healthy for your immune system! This old practice in the most beautiful scenery and setting is an experience you won’t easily forget. There is also a built-in water tank, perfect for a quick cooling dip after a sauna session. Dry wood is available to chop and use.

The large plot of land has forest, cliffs and two private jetties with enough water depth to house sailing boats if needed. The jetty below the sauna has a bathing ladder and the second jetty has sun chairs available for use.

Käckskär is accessible with your own private boat, taxi boat or the public boat service running from Stavsnäs to the private jetty. This journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. If you would rather travel by a private taxiboat and you can book this and it takes only about 15 minutes to Stavsnäs. The taxi boat can take several people.

Distance from Stockholm to Stavsnäs is 40 minutes by car and 50 minutes by bus.

The owner has a router with Wi-Fi that is available for an extra cost (on request). Otherwise with a Swedish SIM card and an adapter / dongle you can use mobil surf. SIM cards with an adapter / dongle can be bought in larger grocery stores and at most kiosks.

During certain weekends in May and June the renting period must be over five days, Sunday to Friday. Other weeks its Sunday to Sunday.

NOTE! The water in the private well has slight aftertaste of iron and may stain certain clothing. The water is however fully approved as drinking water and has hold excellent hygienic quality.
