Lakeside plot in the Stockholm Archipelago

The property is featured in the film Sommaren med Släkten which has been broadcast on Kanal5 and Dplay.

Turn-of-the-century villa from 1906 on a lakeside plot of approximately 5,000 square meters of level water area in Sjötorp, Aspvik. The main building is located by the water in a protected bay approximately 25km from Stockholm by road and close to the Stockholm inlet and the outer archipelago by boat. Close to Gustavsberg Harbour with several restaurants, cafes and shops. There are also restaurants on the surrounding islands.


The main building, about 260m², has been renovated with a gentle hand and with a typical design of the time, without compromising today's needs for technology. Many fine details such as fireplaces, floors, doors, etc. have been preserved. The building is carefully painted with linseed oil paint both inside and out.

On the ground floor there is, among other things, a country kitchen with room for many and a large Apple TV. Two dishwashers and a fridge and freezer with built-in ice maker and carbonated cold water. You are welcome to use the spices, oils, tea, coffee, etc. that are in the kitchen.

Furthermore, there are several large social areas where the boundary between inside and outside is blurred thanks to the many hand-blown windows that, on the first floor, look out towards the sea.

The first floor consists of two bedrooms, both with fantastic sea views and morning sun. The master bedroom also has a large TV and a sofa group.

The bathroom with shower and bathtub offers an unobstructed view of the sea. The second floor also houses a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer.

The third floor offers a generous attic with two wide beds (for dimensions, see further down in the text) open spaces with a sofa group and its own toilet. Fantastic view of the sea.

The house in general:
A large fireplace, three beautiful, tiled stoves and a stove are there to increase the coziness factor during the winter months.

The lakeside plot, with its long shoreline, includes a child-friendly sandy beach, lawns, rocks and a jetty. The property has a generous jetty, with space for a boat with sailboat depth. On the property there is another cottage, near the main house, with a double bed, toilet, shower and kitchenette.



A heated relaxation pool for adults only is located near the sea. In order for the treatment plant to function, the pool is used for a maximum number of hours/day (depending on how many people are swimming).

Sauna raft at the pier.

Life jackets are available for rent. Kayaks are available for rent.

It is possible to rent an open boat with a motor and oars (see picture).

Possibilities to rent a larger boat with a captain is available.


In the garden there is a greenhouse with tomatoes, lettuce, strawberries, fresh herbs, edible flowers etc. Everything according to season and availability. There are also apple trees, rose bushes and an impressive Rhododendron.

The property is located about 25 km from Slussen/Stockholm. Many restaurants and shops etc are also nearby (Gustavsbergs Hamn and surroundings). Several islands around also offer archipelago restaurants.

There is a cottage outside the main house with room for two. Small kitchen, toilet and shower.

The shortest rental period is one week.

The rent includes the loan of bed linen, large shower towels, small towels and beach towels. When guests arrive, there are dishwashing detergent/tablets, laundry detergent and fabric softener, toilet and kitchen paper, shower cream and soap etc.

The kitchen has necessities in the form of e.g. spices, oil, vinegar, tea, coffee, sugar, flour etc.

Cleaning before arrival and after departure is included. During the rental period, you take care of the cleaning yourself. All cleaning materials are in the house.


A maximum of 8 guests.

The main house has 3 bedrooms.



Bedroom 1: Very wide bed (2.35 mts). Large TV, sofa area and fantastic view of the sea.

Bedroom 2: Double bed (2.10 mts wide), sofa bed with table and also fantastic sea view.

Bedroom 3: Own floor at the top with two double beds (one 1.65 mts wide and the other 1.45 mts wide), own toilet, sofa area with table and miles of sea view.

Cottage near the main house: Double bed and toilet, shower and own kitchen.

Own private parking outside the house/houses.

For guaranteed bookings the following applies:

20% of the rental amount is paid within 10 days of booking.
The remaining rental amount is paid no later than 1 month before arrival.
Amounts paid are not refunded in the event of cancellation.

Loan of large bath towels as well as small towels, beach towels and freshly washed bed linen upon arrival.
