Enjoy nature and culture in Öland's Stora Alvar

Are you looking for tranquility and unique nature in Öland's World Heritage Site, a few steps away from unique Stora Alvar, in picturesque and cultural Vickleby? This modern little holiday home is perfect for single or couple travelers. Nice and cozy with wooden walls and floor, air conditioning and underfloor heating. Like the whole room the bathroom is newly renovated. In the kitchen you will find everything you need for cooking, the fridge has a freezer compartment so you do not have to go shopping so often (various grocery stores about 10km away). A washing machine is integrated. The bed is very comfortable with fine wellpur mattresses, no need to bring your own bed linen. Everything is complete. Please note that pets are not allowed.

In Vickleby you will find Carl Malmstens Capellagården, the famous arts and crafts school with its annual summer exhibition, summer café and summer courses. The unique landscape with the unique Stora Alvar of the Öland World Heritage Site is right on the doorstep and offers exciting hiking and biking trails or guided tours. Linné station with its wide range of nature experiences is only 5 km away. Various bathing places at 3 - 5 km. A lot of cultural activities such as outdoor music evenings, art exhibitions, galleries, lectures, movie nights and much more are taking place on different locations on Öland. In Eketorp's refuge you will experience life in the Öland Iron Age and Middle Ages. Or visit Himmelsberga and feel transported into 18th and 19th centuries rural life on Öland. Vickleby's geographical location makes it possible to discover all Öland with all its attractions from magical Trollskogen up north down to breathtaking views at Ottenby lighthouse as well as leaving your car at home and enjoying the environment right outside the door by foot or bike (bike rental possible).
