Lakeside cottage at Arholma

Arholma is a genuine archipelago island with varied nature, both farmland and barren cliffs out to the open sea. The island is car-free with nice walking paths and cycle paths. The cottage is located on a large and child-friendly lakeside plot facing south. There is a private jetty and swimming facilities. Canoe and two bicycles are included.

The house has a kitchen, a glazed veranda with a dining area, a living room with a fireplace and two bedrooms with a total of five beds. Two more simple bedrooms with four beds are in a separate house. The kitchen has running cold and hot water, a fridge/freezer, a stove, a microwave, a coffee maker and a kettle. Broadband is included. There is a toilet indoors and a shower and sauna in a separate house. The plot has outdoor furniture and a barbecue.

The island has a shop with a post office, a pharmacy, system deliveries and bicycle rental. The beautifully situated dance floor has a restaurant. Various theme evenings are arranged during the summer, including dance, crafts and literature evenings. On the north side of the island is Arholma Nord with the defense facility Batteri Arholma, restaurant, kayak rental and cable car.

To Arholma you take the SL bus or your own car to Simpnäs and from there a speedboat. You can also take the Waxholmsbåt directly from Stockholm.
