Dream vacation in Värmlands Glava Glasbruk
Beautiful holiday house layed on a 10 hectare property inbetween two great lakes, bordering to the Glaskogens nature reserve.
The two lakes behind and in front of the house belong partially to the property and invite the guests to have a swim or take out the boat for paddling. The rowboat lays in the northern lake, which is directly ending in the nature reserve.
The holiday house can accommodate 6 people, possessing a living area of 80 square meters.
At the basement you will find a spacious kitchen, the living room and a bathroom. The living room is associated with a great terrace that provides a fantastic view at the southern lake.
Two bedrooms and a lovely and light-flooded floor are located upstairs. One bedroom is equipped with a double bed, the other with two loft beds.
The facilities and furniture definitely assure a lovely and restorative vacation.
Directions:
Arrived in Glava you need to follow the road sign to Glava Glasbruk (6km). As you reached Glava Glasbruk you continue along the signposting to Lenungshammer and after 1 km you will find the southern layed lake and enter the oppositive path up to the holiday house. The house is layed up the hill and on the left side of the path.

Wir waren im Juli 2025 in Glava und haben eine wirkliche schöne und erholsame Zeit in Glava Glasbruk verbracht. Mittlerweile hat uns der Alltag wieder eingeholt und wir erinnern uns noch gerne an die Zeit in Schweden. Vor allem Lenas Haus war eine Wohlfühl-Oase und hat uns alles geboten, was wir als vierköpfige Familie für einen entspannten Urlaub brauchen. Die angrenzenden Seen und Strände haben unseren Aufenthalt abgerundet. Lena als Gastgeberin war großartig und wir haben ihre Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit sehr genossen.

Das Haus ist ein absoluter Traum! Man schläft mit dem Rauschen des Baches ein und genießt morgens auf der Terrasse das Frühstück. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, Lena als Vermieterin total fürsorglich und liebevoll. Die Gegend ist ein Traum für jeden Wanderer, der Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht. Der Glaskogen Nationalpark liegt direkt vor der Tür und lockt mit wundervollen Wegen und Pfifferlingen. Rundum 3 wundervolle Wochen, die einen echt abschalten lassen. Wir kommen wieder. Auch die Supermärkte lassen keine Wünsche offen und sind schnell erreichbar. Ein absolut lohnenswertes Reiseziel!! Haben selten so abschalten können. Lena 1000 Dank.

We have been at Lena’s very nice house with a family in Aug. 2023 and can only recommend it; it is located next to two smaller, beautiful lakes and only 6km from stora gla. If you like hiking or canoeing, it s an ideal starting point to explore the beautiful Glaskogen nature reserve. House and kitchen are exceptionally well equipped an clean, the communication with Lena exceptionally friendly. We definitely would like to come back.

A great holiday in a fine house and in wonderfull surroundings.
The house itself is causy, light, clean and with a good bed.
On the terrace you can enjoy the sun from early in the morning till late in the afternoon. And all the time there are no other sounds but the singing birds and the little river.
You can walk endless in all directions and swim in the many lakes in the neighborhood.
I have seen many deer, one on the field before the house.

Wieder mal zurückgekehrt im Jahr 2022. Wir brauchten Ruhe und Erholung - und wussten, hier, in Lenas Haus finden wir beides. Wenn man mit sich selbst im Einklang ist und die schwedische Natur liebt, gibt es einiges, das man von hier aus unternehmen kann. Das Ferienhaus steht direkt an der Grenze zum wunderschönen Naturreservat Glaskogen. Doch auch Lenas Grundstück bietet einiges - etwa 2 kleine Seen, am oberen See liegt ein Ruderboot für die Gäste. Hier kann man angeln, schwimmen, oder wandern, Pilze sammeln - oder einfach auf der Terrasse sitzen und mal grillen...
Das Haus ist ganz liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet vom TV mit deutschen Sendern , Internet-Zugang, Waschmaschine, Bad, Küche , 2 Schlafzimmer und .. ganz wichtig : Hunde sind erlaubt !
Tankstelle, Einkaufsmöglichkeit ICA in 6 km Entfernung. Was will man mehr?
