Cottage in nature reserve, canoe- and bath lake

The cottage is located on the farm Krampan. There is a narrow path that leads to two beautiful lakes with bathing area in about 400 meters distance.

The farm Krampan is located in the nature reserve "Marvikarna" with interesting nature, animals and history. A small ironworks was formerly on the site of the cabin. To a small stream, which flows on the border of the basic piece, are garden furniture. In the beautiful and interesting surroundings, there are hiking trails with beautiful places which invite you to relax. In the forest there are plenty of berries and mushrooms and it´s free to bring.

The cottage of 55 sq m has two bedrooms and a kitchen. The House has a geothermal energy for the whole year. There is no fireplace.
The drinking water comes from an own well with best quality. Outside, there are patio with a chairs and barbecue. Pets and smoking are not permitted indoors.

The facilities of the cottage consists of:
-Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed 180 cm
-Kitchen: Fridge, freezer, stove with 4 iron plates and oven, microwave, coffee maker and kettle etc. Dining table for 4-6 people.
Crockery and cutlery etc for 8 people. Pans, etc are available.
-Living room / bedroom 2: Bunk bed 120 + 90 cm bed sofa 2 x 80 cm.
TV, DVD, radio, CD player Dining table for 8 persons.
- Bathroom: WC and shower with hot running water.
-Laundryroom in the basement: Washing machine, ironing equipment.

To rent: bed sheets and bath towels 75 SEK per person, bicycles 75 SEK per person. There is also a rowing boat 75 SEK per day.
Food and beverages in grocery store, 10 kilometers away.

The bike trail "Näckrosleden" passes by the farm. In the vicinity there is to rent a canoe. The canoe trail in the lakes "Marviksarna" runs from Åkers Styckebruk at Lake Mälaren to the beautiful town of Trosa at the Baltic Sea.
One of the most beautiful hiking trails in Sweden, the 1000 kilometer-long "Sörmlandsleden" passes close to the farm.

Approximately 1.5 kilometres from the historical mine "Skottvång" is located a museum and an Inn with good food and great music entertainment all year around, in summer twice a week. In July is a charcoal stack at “Skottvång” lighting and in September is another one in "Galltorp" lighted, 1 kilometers away. These adventures are worth seeing.

Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, is approx. 70 km away and can be reached by train. The train station is 10 km away from the farm. In the town Mariefred, 14 kilometers away you can reach Stockholm on a beautiful ship tour. There is also the famous Gripsholm Castle in Mariefred.

Directions:
From Nyköping:
1. Drive E4 towards Stockholm
2. After 25 km, exit 136 to Lästringe/Gnesta
3. Go route 224 about 15 km to Gnesta
4. Drive through town Gnesta until shop "Granngården"
5. After about 100 meters turn right to Mariefred
6. Drive about 16 km to Laxne and by Y-crossroad keep right
7. In Laxne, right direction Mariefred
8. After about 2 km go left into Marvikarnas naturreservat / Krampan
9. Go 1.5 kilometers through 2 lakes
10. The farm Krampan is left in the S-curve and mountain high
