Cozy and fresh cottage, Köpingsvik Öland

Welcome to the quiet Öjkroken just outside Köpingsvik! A very quiet and leafy area without heavy traffic and with walking areas in a traditional Öland environment around the corner. Still close to speed and excitement in Köpingsvik and Borgholm if you so wish. The old railway used to stretch here and the old station house is still in the village. Plot of 2,800 square meters with a large lawn perfect for games and barbecues. There is an outdoor shower and a swing set for the little ones and two football goals for the slightly older children.

The terrace is complete with outdoor furniture. Outdoor kitchen next to the terrace equipped with running water, grills and various cooking equipment.

On the plot there is a large cottage of about 70 square meters (5 + 2 beds) and a small cottage of about 12 square meters (4 beds). New for 2026 is that there is now also a charging box to charge the car on the plot. 11 kW destination charger. The cost of charging is paid in advance at check-out.

The main cottage is renovated with two bedrooms with wardrobes, a cozy and spacious living room with dining table, 2 sofas and TV with chrome cast. Bedroom 1 contains a double bed and bedroom 2 contains a bunk bed and a single bed. Fully renovated bathroom 2025 with washing machine and shower. Nice and well-equipped kitchen with kitchen island, fridge/freezer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, etc. Terrace under roof and awning, barbecue and garden furniture. Installed broadband via fiber in the cottage provides opportunities to surf in a fast and stable environment. Perfect for streaming or if you want to check for work.

The small cottage has four beds. NOTE! Only bedrooms in the small cottage. Kitchen and bathroom are shared with the main cottage. However, there is a chest of drawers in the cottage that you can use to wash yourself or brush your teeth.

The cottages are normally only rented weekly with changeover day on Fridays. Exception at midsummer when the changeover day is Thursday. Midsummer week is rented including Midsummer Day. June 18 - June 25. Age limit 25 years.

Bicycles are available for rent for 200 SEK/week. Ask the landlord about this when booking.

Cleaning and waste sorting deposit are normally charged in addition to the rent, which of course is returned upon check-out. To get your deposit back, the cottage must be cleaned according to instructions and that waste sorting has been done according to instructions. If the garbage is not sorted correctly, the municipality will not collect the garbage.

Midsummer deposit: 2500 SEK

Drive to Köpingsvik and turn off after ICA towards Bredsätra. After about 5 minutes you are there. A detailed route description will of course be sent out before arrival.
