A holiday home (60 m2), souterrain in a villa with private pier - central located in Vaxholm, Stockholms archipelago, only 30 minutes by car from Stockholm.
A large living-room with sofa bed (bed 140x200cm), combined with fully equipped kitchen, renovated shower/WC and a bedroom with two beds 120x200cm. The bedroom has level difference with two steps and is separated with a wall. A drapery make it to two bedrooms. A crib and a high chair is available.
A ground floor terrace with roof (15 m2) right at the entrance with direct access to the lawn and on to the bridge belongs to this holiday home.
For children there is a playhouse and trampolin in the garden.
Free sea view from both living-room/kitchen and the terrace.
A rowing-boat with 4 hp motor available summer time (June-August).
Free parking outside the house.
30 minutes by car to Stockholm.
Walking distances
5 minutes to Ica Supermarket (open 7:00-22:00 every day).
3 minutes to a beach.
3 minutes to bus stop. (40 minutes by bus to Stockholm)
10 minutes to Vaxholm center, harbour (45 minutes by ferry to Stockholm and many ferries to Stockholms archipelago summer time)
Arrival and departure on Sundays.
Bed linen and towels can be ordered for SEK 100 per person.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment in Vaxholm in August 2026 and would happily come back.
The location is fantastic, with a lovely garden that was perfect for my children. Having breakfast on the terrace was one of the highlights of our stay. The beach, supermarket and shops are all just around the corner, and getting to Stockholm is wonderfully easy by bus or, even better, by boat from the nearby pier.
The apartment itself has so much charm and you can really feel how much love went into it. It is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, while the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped: a proper kitchen where you can comfortably cook. Johanna and Joachim are truly wonderful hosts: incredibly attentive, warm and helpful. They made us feel genuinely welcome and very well looked after.
We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend it without hesitation, especially to families.

Vi hyrde lägenheten i augusti 2025 i två veckor. Lägenheten är precis som den beskrivs; och bästa värdarna. Bara några minuters promenad från hamnen och busshållplatsen och med alla möjligheter att utforska omgivningarna och även Stockholm utan bil. En utsikt över vattnet som man knappt kan slita sig från.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr schön und in ruhiger Lage direkt am Meer. Sehr gut ausgestattete, saubere Wohnung und eine Küche in der man nichts vermisst. Idealer Standort für Ausflüge in die Schären und nach Stockholm. Aber auch Vaxholm selber bietet viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und es gibt dort einiges zu entdecken. Die Bushaltestelle ist nur 300 m entfernt und der Hafen ist ebenfalls gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt im August.

Wir waren 8 Tage im Juni da und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die große Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Betten sind bequem. Die Vermieter Johanna und Joakim sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten Fahrräder und das Boot benutzen und die Inselwelt erkunden. Gleich beim Haus geht ein schöner Küstenwanderweg vorbei, auf dem man rund um Vaxholm und über die Brücke auch noch weiter wandern kann. Mit den Linienbooten kann man preisgünstig durch den Schärengarten fahren. Man kann auch nur auf der überdachten Terrasse sitzen und den vorbeifahrenden Schiffen zuschaun. Wir können diese Wohnung nur empfehlen.
