Enjoy a relaxing getaway in our fully equipped cottage by the shores of Lake Hjälmaren. Take a walk through the nearby nature reserve, rent a canoe, go for a swim in the lake, or try your luck fishing for the famous Hjälmaren pike-perch.

Stay comfortably with air conditioning, a dishwasher, washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen. Unwind with a barbecue on the patio while enjoying beautiful lake views.

If you're looking for more activities, you'll find a playground, football field, beach volleyball court, mini golf course, and disc golf course all within walking distance.

There's something here for the whole family, and of course, your beloved pets are welcome too!

The Property

We purchased the cottage in the summer of 2026 and are gradually renovating and improving it. Everything is not yet perfect, but we've already come a long way.

What we love most about the cottage is its fantastic location and spacious layout, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The area is peaceful and safe, yet close to the charming medieval town of Arboga.

There are plenty of activities available within walking distance, or you can simply relax and enjoy the view of Lake Hjälmaren from the terrace. Feel free to bring the sun loungers down to the beach, just a few meters away. It's wonderful to sit there in the afternoon breeze or enjoy the evening sunshine by the water.

We have a Boxer dog ourselves, so being able to travel with pets has always been important to us. Pets are welcome at no extra charge, and you'll find a few pet-friendly accessories in the cottage that you're free to use.
