Welcome to the lovely Uttervik and this cozy house, partly newly renovated and very close to the sea.
We are in Inga Lindström-land, and the German hit series has been filmed at our beautiful beach for several years.
The house has a living room - kitchen and living room in one - bathroom with shower, a bedroom with a 180 cm wide double bed and a large loft bed, 80 cm wide. Sofa bed in the living room. The bedroom has three wardrobes.
The upper floor of the house is not used.
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need for proper cooking, and even for baking. There is a toaster, as well as a Moccamaster coffee maker, Presso coffe maker and a kettle. Of course, we also have wineglasses and a Danish cheese slicer.
We have three different types of children's chairs as well as a children's stool and potty for the bathroom.
There are various boardgames and books to borrow.
Outside there is a lovely large wooden deck with both dining and lounge furniture. There is also a cozy pavilion with a large dining table and plenty of seating. An extra living room!
Cherries, blueberries, lingonberries and wild raspberries grow on the plot. All according to season.
The house is close - but completely separate from the hostess's home. It is private and private as the terrace is located on the other side of the house, and faces the common area. Own entrance and parking on the plot.
A five-minute walk via a path takes you down to the swimming area where both a sandy beach and swimming from a bathing jetty are offered. It is also possible to swim from the rocks. The rent includes a key to the locked toilet at the beach, which only members have access to.
Within the community area there are several ball fields, playgrounds, boules court and a tennis court.
The nature is beautiful and exciting with cliffs towards Bråviken and a fantastic viewpoint 7 minutes walk from the house. The Sörmlandsleden hiking trails also cross Uttervik and the surrounding area.
It takes about 10 minutes by car to the nearby old mill town of Nävekvarn, and it is really worth a visit, or several. Here you will find, among other things, a grocery store, café and restaurant in the harbor, and an exhibition space for local arts and crafts. A walk out onto Skäret – where a long jetty/bridge leads – is almost a must. There are barbecue areas out there, and swimming from a bathing ladder.
A visit to the picturesque Koppartorp is also recommended. Unfortunately, the link cannot be shared here, but take a look at:
nykopingsguiden and select there :se-och-gora/upplev-landsbygden/navekvarn/koppartorp/ After that ask for translation
It takes about 20 minutes by car to Nyköping and its larger selection of shops and services. Nyköping is one of Sweden's oldest cities and the old city center offers many nice views and attractions. The harbor has several good restaurants, an ice cream parlor and craft shops.
