With stunning mountain views and just a stone’s throw from the ski slopes, this mountain cabin offers the perfect combination of nature and skier comfort. The house is a log cabin built in 2015 and is in excellent condition. Ground source heating with underfloor heating throughout the lower level ensures a cozy indoor climate.
The cabin is designed for two families with a total of 10 beds. Ideally located on the mountain side in the middle of the ski system, it offers convenient ski-in/ski-out access—about 150 meters to two different slopes. The popular restaurants Bräjks and Bageriet are within walking distance. Bräjks has the best après-ski in Björnrike during high season. Björnrike’s cross-country trail center is a few kilometers away.
The layout is open and social, connecting the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room features large windows that let in plenty of natural light and a generous ceiling height that adds to the spacious and cozy feeling. From here, there is also access to the patio.
The home includes four bedrooms, a living room, an extra family room, a kitchen, and two bathrooms—one of which has a sauna.
• Large entrance hall: Long coat rack, bench, and plenty of hooks
• Kitchen: Kitchen island, ample storage, full-size fridge, dining area for 10
• Living room: Open to the roof, large windows with beautiful mountain views, plenty of seating, 55” TV with streaming (no TV subscription), access to patio

Björnrike is home to Sweden’s longest express lift, Grizzly Express, which takes you all the way to the top of the mountain. From there, you can choose from a variety of slopes in all difficulty levels and lengths. In the Björnvallen children’s area (where the cabin is located), you’ll find Valles Minipark, a forest track, and great skiing for younger children. The area also features cross-country trails connected to Vemdalsskalet, and the SkiStarshop Concept Store is located at Björnrike Torg.
By car, it’s 8 minutes to Vemdalen village, 15 minutes to the Vemdalsskalet ski area, and 30 minutes to both Storhogna and Klövsjö ski areas—ideal if you want to explore a different ski system. Free ski buses run between the resorts. The same ski pass is valid in all four areas.
Small pets are welcome, but not on the furniture.
Final cleaning is mandatory and charged directly to the guest: 1,400 SEK after RUT deduction.
