Now there is an opportunity to rent our completely renovated and charming 1920s house. The house is located in northeastern Småland right by the beautiful Bjursund Bridge in the Tjust archipelago outside Loftahammar. Here you can enjoy a large sea plot (6000 sqm), a private bathing island and a fantastic view of Bjursund.

The house itself is in top condition with much of the old preserved, which gives a nice feeling and atmosphere. There are three bedrooms that are all tastefully furnished with a double bed each (two extra mattresses are also available if needed). Blankets and pillows are provided, but guests bring their own sheets and towels. In the bright living room there is a sofa and a large TV with associated Chromecast for those who wish to stream TV or movies. The room also has a nice iron stove that can be lit (firewood included), and double doors that lead out to the large wooden deck. The kitchen has a SMEG fridge and freezer, stove and dining table. The house has two toilets, one with a shower and the other with a washing machine.

In the garden there is a beautiful "Attefall" house (built in 2017) which houses a large community area (table with 10 seats) which is perfect for festive meals or why not a few board games in the evening? Furthermore, there are several patios with seating areas to relax in, as well as space for food and grilling. There is also a private boule alley in the garden.

On the private bathing island there is a jetty with good opportunities to take a refreshing dip in the sea, or enjoy the sun and the beautiful view. If you want to go out to sea, there is a rowing boat and two kayaks that can of course be used. The fishing opportunities are good both from a boat and from land.

The house is not rented out to people under the age of 25, nor to companies. We are looking for quiet tenants who appreciate the surroundings, the sea and the environment and who take care of other people's property.

Strömsholmen is located on the Baltic coast in the Tjust archipelago.

In Loftahammar there is an supermarket, bakery, pizzeria, padel court, golf course (9 holes), disc golf course, lake pub, marina and tourist office.

For those of you who need to charge your electric car, there is a Tesla supercharger just 16 km away (Tindered, Edsbruk).

Tjust archipelago consists of 5,000 islands, islands and skerries. You can easily get out with your own boat, archipelago traffic, boat taxi or why not in one of our two kayaks..

Saknade såklart en diskmaskin eftersom vi var 6 vuxna och 2 barn. Bullret från trafiken var mycket störande för de som hade sovrummet mot bron. Gick inte att ha fönstret öppet på natten. För övrigt så var Christer en mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående hyresvärd.

Tack Lena för dina kommentarer. Trevligt att du uppskattar vårt bemötande. När det gäller diskmaskin så kan man givetvis sakna det, men vi har aldrig i bilder eller annonstext, skrivit att huset har en diskmaskin. Gällande trafiken så är det tråkigt att ni upplevde det så. Vi själva har aldrig tyckt att närheten till bron varit något problem. Vi har heller inte upplevt trafiken som störande varken på dagen eller natten.

Wir haben einen wunderbaren Urlaub in Christers Haus verbracht. Christer war jederzeit zu erreichen und stand uns immer zur Verfügung, wenn wir eine Frage hatten. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Leider war es viel zu kurz!

Bootverhuur – Rowing boat is available to borrow. Of course included in the rent. We also have several life jackets.
Golf – Lofthammar (9 holes) 7km from the house. Västervik (18 holes) 40 km from the house.
Kanoverhuur – Two kayaks are available to borrow (included in the rent). Lifejackets in various sizes are also available.
Midgetgolf – Available at the campsite on the other side of the strait. About 800 m from the house.
Natuurbad – There is a private swimming area on the plot by the boat shed, which is on its own small island (see pictures).
Overdekt zwembad – Västervik resort 40 km
Vissen – Fishing from a boat (available to borrow) or from land (two piers are on the property). A fishing license is not required.
