The house
You enter a hallway where you have the bathroom directly to the left. New & neat, with WC, sink, shower, washer & dryer. Then follow two bedrooms to the left after each other, one with two single beds & one with a double bed of 160 cm.

In the center of the house is the kitchen area with a large beautiful dining table along large glass walls facing the patio and the stunning view. There is also a fireplace. The kitchen is top-equipped with two top-fed dishwashers, 5-plate hob, built-in oven & micro. The kitchen area ends in a modern glass veranda with two lovely ear-lounger armchairs that invite you for a moment of readingt or just relax and enjoy the beautiful nature outside.

* The heating of the pool can be affected by wind blowing and the cover is not pulled on for nights and bad weather.
The pool is heated between June-August
* There is a path that goes next to the house, where neighbors have the opportunity to walk across the plot when they are going to the beach. By the pool, a fence will be built as part of privacy protection
* Maximum 6 guest inclusive children

“The sea is constantly present”
From the dining area you enter the large living room with glass walls in two directions offering a fantastic panoramic view. The ocean is constantly present in this harmonious house. The living room has a large & cozy living area with two comfortable sofas and a fireplace. There is also a play-corner for evening gatherings with cards, monopoly or puzzles. In this part of the house is also a large bedroom with double bed, 180 cm.

Outside
From both the dining area and the living room you can walk directly onto the large patio with a commodious dining area. Here you can feast on fresh seafood or something good from the BBQ while enjoying the sunset over the sea. A few steps down to the right is another large patio with a pool that is not heated. Here you can swim and sunbathe completely undisturbed. At the end of the lawn you will find the small path that leads you down to the sea in 5-10 minutes. Here you will find nice bathing facilities, a private sunheated rock, a jetty w ladder, a small sandy beach and a small marina.

The surroundings

You live on Mjörn, a small island between Tjörn & Orust. Despite total seclusion, you only have 5 minutes walk to the sea & 15 minutes by car to shops. You can hike on the trails to Sundsby Manor and reward yourself with a fantastic shrimp sandwich in a beautiful setting. In Sweden we have a special word for coffee with something really tasty; gofika. We love to “fika” in the summer.

In 20-30 minutes you will reach Skärhamn with the well renowned Watercolor museum, fishshop, ice cream parlor & restaurants, or picturesque Klädesholmen with herring canning industry and the excellent Salt & Sill restaurant. To the north you have Orust which offers a variety of fun, relaxing & interesting excursions. Read more under the tab “Activities”

Note:
that the road to the house is narrow with a heavy uphill and then down the last bit to the house where the road is very rough macadam as well as a part with rock. You have to gather some speed when leaving the cottage, if your car isn’t the strongest. However, there is plenty of room to turn the car on the plot.
