Unique 2 storey older style cottage (approx 80 sqm) with 4 bedrooms (7 beds), kitchen/dining room, livingroom and lawn/garden. Short walking distance to the sea/beach. Located in the popular and calm area of Lökenäs on the middle of Öland with its two sandy and family friendly beaches.

Activities: bird watching/walking/running/MTB/biking/kite/windsurfing. Bicycle hire in Färjestaden (9km). Kite/windsurfing rental/lessons in Haga Park (20km).

The house was constructed in the 1960s by an artistic family mainly from an old grain storage house which was moved from another part of Öland complemented by more modern facilities. In the central part of the building there is a large chimney open all the way to the ceiling of the second floor.

Ground floor: Large hallway with entrance to three charming bedrooms, the restroom (shower/wc from 2009) and the kitchen/dining room and with a staircase to the second floor. The kitchen includes a combined oven/stove with 4 plates, an iron stove (for the nostalgic), refrigerator/fridge, micro, blender etc. Large dining room with table and chairs in front of the fireplace/stove. Exit to the large outdoor veranda facing south. Two of the bedrooms contain four bunkbeds (whereof two bunk beds are around 190cm) and one bedroom with a single bed.

Second floor: One large bedroom with a double bed. Living room with sofa, armchair, TV/DVD.

Very close to two nice family friendly beaches with possibility to rig windsurfing etc. Green areas close to the beach to play football, volleyball etc. Perfect to walk/run/bicycle in the nearby forests. Relatively close to Ölands djur och nöjespark (zoo/amusement park).

Other: warm/cold water and heating included. Parking for 2 cars, 2 older bicycles may be borrowed. Rental period: starts Sundays at 15.00 and ends Sundays at 11.00. Cleaning is not included but can be ordered. Max 7 people. No smoking/no pets. Fire wood/bed linen/towels are not provided. Wifi/fibre. Extra cost for charging electric car.

Directions:
Lökenäs is located 7km north of the bridge to Öland. Follow the signs for Färjestaden and then Saxnäs camping, but continue straight past the road to the camping for a few km onto a "private" road. Pass through the village of Lökenäs and turn left and left again. Then second right and follow the road for a few hundred meters until you see the house on the right hand side.
