Summer idyll in Dalsland Sweden

Welcome to relax with your family in a peaceful cottage surrounded by the beautiful nature of Kroppefjäll. Pets are welcome too. The area is characterised by vast forests, lakes, traditional cottages and small gravel roads. In season and under the right conditions, there are plenty of mushrooms and wild berries to pick.

The cottage is approximately 50 m² and has a 10 m² south-facing sunroom overlooking the small lake/pond. The sunroom is simply furnished and has infrared heating. Outside, there is a terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. To the west, the garden blends beautifully into the forest, where there is also a barbecue area.

A short walk through the peaceful forest and along a beautiful gravel road is a lovely experience in the morning or evening. Guests have access to a sauna, small beach and jetty. A rowing boat and three SUP boards are normally available to borrow free of charge. A laundry room in the barn is also available.

The cottage has two small bedrooms. The larger bedroom has a 140 cm wide double bed, while the other has a bunk bed and wardrobe. The living room has an open fireplace/wood-burning stove as well as a heat pump with air conditioning. If you would like to use the fireplace, we are happy to provide firewood and advice.
The kitchen and dining area have room for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would normally need, as well as a spacious fridge and freezer – useful if, for example, you would like to freeze berries or mushrooms you have picked.

The hosts are usually at the neighbouring small farm. You and your family or friends are always welcome to stop for a chat or ask for tips about excursions, swimming spots, mushroom and berry picking or other activities. How much contact you would like to have with us is, of course, entirely up to you.
