Cottage on Roslagen island (rowing boat included)

Holiday cottage on the car-free island of Löparö in Roslagen, one hour by car from central Stockholm and 20 minutes from Norrtälje. Two parking spaces are included. A rowboat with an electric motor for crossing to the island is included. The property offers all amenities, though in a simple style.

Large and bright natural plot in an elevated and secluded location, where sheep or horses often graze just outside the property boundary. There is a playhouse and a trampoline on the plot.
A child-friendly swimming area is about a five-minute walk from the house.
Charming and bright main house in 1960s style, approximately 65 square meters.
Bathroom in a simple style with an incinerating toilet, hot water, and shower.
Open-plan layout with a kitchen equipped with a large fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and waffle iron.
Living room with a fireplace, TV, PlayStation 3, board games, and a large collection of DVD movies.
Two bedrooms in the main house: one with a double bed, the other with bunk beds.
Large terrace with sun all day.
If additional sleeping space is needed, there is a second house (approx. 22 m²) on the property with 3 beds (double bed and a small sleeping loft), available for an extra fee.

There is also the possibility to use an additional boat mooring for your own boat for an extra fee — please inform in advance.

From the parking area, it is just over 2 km to an SL bus stop. About 10 minutes to a grocery store in Bergshamra. About a 20-minute drive to the charming summertown of Norrtälje with stores, restaurants, concerts and a pittoresque harbor.

No smoking indoors.
Pets are, of course, very welcome!
Bed linen and towels are to be brought by guests.
Cleaning is carried out by the tenants.

There are many activities in the area that are easily accessible by boat. We recommend a visit to Ängsö National Park for a walk and to enjoy its rich flora. There is also an opportunity to try horseback riding on nearby Väringsö.

Roslagen is an old cultural region with many interesting historical ancient remains. The area is also full of other attractions such as the Stockholm archipelago and small picturesque towns like Norrtälje and Grisslehamn, which offer all necessary services including restaurants and shopping.
