Fantastic lakeside plot, Stockholm archipelago

Fantastic lakeside plot on the mainland with a magical view about 50 minutes from Stockholm City. You can see the daily boat traffic with Vaxholmsbolaget's boats trafficking the surrounding islands. Behind these islands is the large fairway that is daily trafficked by the Finnish boats and seasonally by the larger cruise ships.

The place has been in the same family since 1937 and has been carefully renovated and modernized in recent years.


In the main house of about 50m², a toilet and shower cabin have been installed.

There is a small bedroom/alcove with a double bed 180 x 200 and a bed on the sofa.

A small kitchen with dining area for two.

On the lake veranda/main cabin you can set the table for many and enjoy the food and the view over the water.

Directly outside the cabin there is a teak dining group and a rattan lounge group.



There are several places to sit on the property.

The guest cottage, which is undergoing renovation, will have a bunk bed with three berths, a double (140 cm) below and a 90 cm above.

There will be a three-person tent and a small patio with a wonderful view.

The icing on the cake, the Lake Cottage with two berths, double bed, and only a few steps down to the morning swim.

Parking for several cars.

In Margretelund Centrum about 5km from the cottage there is a very well-stocked grocery store with hardware and garden stores, pharmacy, pizzeria and a Japanese restaurant. Another 3km away is Åkersberga Centrum where the off-license shop etc. are located. Bus about 2km to Åkersberga C where the Roslagsbanan with heavy traffic takes you on to Stockholm.


In Åkersberga there are several places to rent kayaks, including the picturesque Åkers Bro where you can also rent SUP, Stand Up Paddleboard. There is also a café there during the summer.
There is also a KAYAKOMAT centrally located.

Vaxholm, which is a hub for boat traffic, is about 30km away.
Within walking distance is Lervik's steamboat pier, where there is daily traffic to Stockholm, Vaxholm and surrounding islands.

Norrtälje, with a fantastic city centre, river running through the city and decorated with art. Hotels, shops, cafes, restaurants etc.
The harbour with new houses and restaurants and boat traffic. Highly recommended. About 50 minutes by car.

Traditional Midsummer celebration within walking distance.

Arlanda airport approx. 50 min by car.

Check-in is on Sundays at 3 pm/ check-out at 11 am.

The property is not suitable for people with reduced mobility as the plot is hilly and has many steep stairs.

Final cleaning is included.

The tenant is responsible for bed linen and towels. Can be ordered when booking.
