Rural paradise in an old cottage

Beautiful and charming semi-detached cottage built in 1865, located between Arvika and the Norwegian border (Charlottenberg). Here you will find all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay with nature as your closest neighbor.
The house, which is on two floors, has a slightly larger living and dining room with TV, sofa and dining table and a warming soapstone stove that provides a nice cozy factor. The bedroom has a bunk bed and a poor man's stove (no heating). The second larger bedroom on the lower floor has a double bed. The hall has two newer double doors out to the veranda and a staircase to the upper floor. The hall also has an iron stove that is rarely used. Upstairs there is a larger furnished bedroom with two beds. The kitchen has a regular stove and an iron stove including oven that can be heated. Fridge and freezer, pantry, microwave and all possible kitchen equipment but no dishwasher. Five to six seats at the kitchen table, on the kitchen sofa and on the kitchen chairs. The bathroom is fresh and newly renovated with a washing machine, shower, water toilet and sink. Underfloor heating. Next to the bathroom is the kitchen entrance and a hall, this entrance is used most often.
Adjacent to the house is a shed with two beds and electricity. In addition, a larger wood-fired sauna in a separate house. Three older barns/sheds are adjacent to the plot. Around the house is a large and flat lawn for fun activities. In front of and around the plot are meadows and forest. The house is completely secluded. There are nice walking paths and paths, the forest contains plenty of mushrooms during the season. In total, the house is about 90 square meters plus a bedroom upstairs. In addition, there is a shed with two beds and a sauna. Cleaning, sheets and towels are not included but can be ordered for a fee.
In the surrounding area, Eda Golf Club is scenic, Arvika Golf Club is about 15 km away. There are many lakes for fishing, swimming and the like within a few minutes' drive.
In winter, the Valfjället ski resort is nearby for downhill or cross-country skiing. Excursions to Norway are popular.
