Sollenkroka Ö (island)

On Sollenkroka Ö (island) you will find our cozy summer cottage. You can easily reach the island by Waxholm boats, with connections from Stockholm, Vaxholm, or Sollenkroka pier (on the mainland just opposite the island).

About 200 meters from the house there is a sandy beach, swimming docks, a football field, and beautiful cliffs perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxed summer picnics – truly a summer paradise.

The main house has two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two separate beds. There is also a guest cottage with a bunk bed. The house features a fully modern kitchen and a living area with a large corner sofa and TV.

As the cottage is located on an island with limited water supply from a private well, we usually swim instead of showering. And nothing beats an early morning swim. There is, however, a shower, and the toilet is a convenient and easy-to-use incineration toilet.

Outside, the terrace is very spacious, with a large dining table (seating 8–10 people), lounge chairs, and a comfortable corner sofa. The sun reaches the terrace early in the morning and stays all day, making the orientation perfect. If it gets too sunny, there is a large parasol.

There is no grocery store on the island, so you either bring your own food or order delivery from the company ”Mathem” directly to the pier. A cart is available to transport luggage and groceries up to the house.
