Located in the charming village of Storebro, surrounded by forests, lakes and the original settings of Astrid Lindgren’s stories, Villa Astrid is the perfect base for exploring Småland.

Katthult Farm (Emil of Lönneberga) – about 30 km / 30 minutes

Bullerbyn – 17 minutes

Pelarne Church – 13 minutes (Sweden’s oldest wooden church still in use)

Astrid Lindgren’s World, Vimmerby – 12 minutes

The ICA supermarket is just 550 metres away, the bathing spot by the lake about 1 kilometre. Across the road you’ll find a lovely farm shop offering fresh milk, cheese, meat and homemade jam – real Småland feeling.
