Cottage 786, Gammelstugan is located on Hedungs ​​Gård right next to ski slopes, trails and hiking trails in Edsåsdalen, a genuine and well-known pleasant village in Södra Årefjällen.
7 beds, two floors, 3 bedrooms (1 with double bed, 1 with three single beds, 1 with bunk bed), WC/shower, sauna, washing machine, large living room with kitchen, dining area, fireplace, TV, wifi, charging station.

This is the first house that was once built on the farm and still has the room layout and some interior details from that time. The house has been renovated to modern standards for many years, is well insulated and has underfloor heating and an air-water heat pump as an energy source. The kitchen and bathroom have recently been further upgraded.

It is 9 km to Undersåker, where the train stops and there is a well-stocked grocery store. After another 20 minutes by car to Åre or Järpen you will reach well-stocked grocery stores, restaurants, sports shops, system companies, pharmacies, taxis, car rentals and a health center.

Winter
Right next to the farm, fantastic opportunities for touring and cross-country skiing are offered. Prepared cross-country trails, wind-protected forest trails and long hilly loops on mountain peaks. Edsåsdalen is part of Södra Årefjällen, an area with over 400 kilometers of touring trails and paths.
It is not difficult to find Edsåsdalen's family-friendly ski area with slopes and trails above the tree line on Renfjället and there is the slope restaurant Vita Renen as a popular excursion destination.
From the cottage accommodation it is about 900 m to the village meeting point where there is a ski school and sports shop with ski rentals.
If you want to discover more, there is high-alpine skiing in Åre and more fun slopes in Trillevallen only half an hour away.

Summer
In Edsåsdalen there are many suggested tours that can vary in length. We do not count the number of kilometers covered, but let the small experiences in the forest or on the mountain become memories to talk about in pleasant moments in the sauna. A good place for children's first mountain adventures - a fairy tale trail for the little ones and an artificial path for the whole family. Hike, fish and enjoy the quiet country life in Edsåsdalen.
