Ljungdalen Lodge is located below Torkilstoten, about 2 km before Klappen parking, surrounded by mountains and unspoiled nature.
The 120 m² timber lodge is designed for calm, comfort and togetherness, ideal for up to two families.

After a day on skis, snowmobile or in the mountain trails, unwind in the sauna or by the fire.
Underfloor heating throughout, two tiled bathrooms, washing machine, dryer and a fully equipped kitchen with kitchen island, dishwasher, oven, microwave, air fryer, coffee maker and a large dining table for up to ten guests.
Outside, a terrace with gas grill and afternoon sun.

Bedrooms:
• 2 bedrooms with double beds
• 2 bedrooms with family bunk beds (120 cm lower / 80 cm upper)
• 1 extra sofa bed
Total up to 10 beds. Duvets and pillows provided.

The larger bathroom includes a sauna with a mountain view. The fireplace and underfloor heating make the house warm and cosy all year round.

Winter and skiing:
• Dunsjoliften, 10 min by car – family-friendly slope with chairlift.
• Fjalliften Torkilstoten, 3 min away – varied terrain and good natural snow.
• Cross-country tracks start in the village and also on top of Torkilstoten with wide views.

March and April are the best months – long sunny days, firm snow and quiet evenings in the sauna.

Snowmobile and hunting:
The area has a well-developed trail network connecting Helags, Glen and Storsjo.
The host rents out trail snowmobiles to experienced drivers with the proper licence.

Grouse hunting areas begin just beyond Stortjarn – reachable directly from the lodge.

Fishing:
• Stortjarn – between Torkilstoten and Grondorrsfjallet, char and large trout.
• Kesusjon – char, short hike.
• Dunsjon – longer hike, chance for char.
• Ljungan River – within walking distance, small trout, great for children.
Fishing permits via or the Tourist center.

Excursions:
• Hastfallet waterfall – 20 min walk from the lodge along Ljungan.
• Helags Mountain Station – 14 km away, classic day hike (4–5 hrs).
The Helags summit (1797 m) is a demanding hike; with children, overnighting is recommended.
• Wind shelter at Stortjarn – simple spot for a night on the mountain.

Nature and atmosphere:
Reindeer are a natural part of Ljungdalen – especially in summer they may wander close to the house.
The light here is special: clear mornings, long evenings and sometimes northern lights above the valley.
