Seaside Villa in Betsede, Värmdö, Stockholm

Villa in Stockholm's inner archipelago with high standard, 400 mts to two child-friendly beaches by the bay and about 600 mts to a nice inland lake.

Wonderful rural environment with large natural areas and at the same time close to Stockholm (about 20 minutes by car). Betsede is located just north of Gustavsberg, an older cottage area with preserved rural character, horse pastures, gravel roads and beautiful surroundings. The short distance to Stockholm means that many people choose to live year-round in this unique environment and many original holiday homes have been converted into permanent homes.

The house is on two floors with a high and modern standard with an open plan between the living room and kitchen with a kitchen island that divides the kitchen from the dining area. The living room has a large sofa with a divan, TV and fireplace. One bedroom has a double bed (180*200 cm tempur mattress) a second bedroom has a bed 160cm (2x80cm) with spring mattresses. An extra bed can be arranged if necessary. A large bathroom with a WC shower bathtub. A smaller bathroom with WC and shower.

A secluded forest plot in an elevated location with play-friendly grass areas and a trampoline. A large terrace with lounge furniture and a large concrete dining table and a large concrete barbecue table. Parasol. Small greenhouse with cucumber/tomato and herb gardens. Fence around the entire plot. Dog SEK 500 per week after approval by the homeowner.

Right next to the house there are nice walking areas with a hiking trail that goes through Betsede and around Ösby Träsk (lake) which is part of the popular Värmdö trail, a total of 25km.

You can take the path down to the sea and swim at the two beaches in the area and at the bathing rocks by the lake which is in the nearby nature reserve. The nature in Betsede offers rich wildlife, beaver, cranes, lynx, white-tailed eagle, buzzard, moose, deer and fox.

In central Gustavsberg there are shops, a bakery with a pastry shop and a café, restaurants, a bus station with a direct bus to Stockholm, a pharmacy, minigolf, a sports area with a skate park and a public bathhouse with an adventure pool, relaxation area and gym. There is also a library, galleries, studios and a porcelain museum with a shop. From Gustavsberg Harbour, the classic archipelago boat "Gustavsbergs VII" regularly sails to Nybroviken in central Stockholm.

Distance to Stockholm circa 27km.
Bus to Slussen in central Stockholm is about 25 minutes.
