The Bear House in beautiful Bergslagen

Between Ängelsberg and Virsbo you find our pastoral paradise. On our farm we have the Bearhouse, which we let out weekly or over the weekend. It contains ten beds.
We also have two old timbered buildings, a former forge and a granary, with pleasant sleeping quarters to rent if you are a large group, all in all 10 extra beds. (In addition, there is a barn where we have prepared for parties.)

Björnhuset, the Bear House, is located in the countryside overlooking fields and a pond. It is 1.5 kilometers to the lake Åmänningen, where there is a pleasant swimming. You can also borrow a small rowing boat. Åmänningen is known for its good fishing (fishing license required). At least ten bicycles in different sizes and varying conditions are available to borrow. In the surrounding forests there are plenty of mushrooms and berries when the time is right.

Ängelsberg has an interesting history.The ironworks is a world heritage site and part of the Ekomuseum Bergslagen.

Björnhuset has a large combined kitchen and living room (where there is room for a long table). There are eight beds in the house - a bedroom with a double bed, a bunk bed in an alcove adjacent to the living room and a cozy loft with four beds. In addition, there is a small cabin (without electricity, but with lights) with two beds right outside the house. Thus 10 beds. The house is fresh and cozy. Everything you could need is there. We haven't had time to renovate the bathroom, which has an older standard, but everything is clean. There is outdoor furniture and a barbecue.
