Spacious family cottage 200 m from the beach

Wake up to birdsong, have your morning coffee on the deck in the sunshine, and walk barefoot to one of Halland's finest sandy beaches in just a couple of minutes. Our cottage in Sandkärr (Glommen) is made for families and larger groups who want the sea, nature, and modern comfort all within reach.

NEW FOR 2026
A brand-new deck wraps around half the house with three separate dining areas facing east, south, and west – purpose-built so you can follow the sun from morning coffee to evening drink. Two newly renovated bedrooms with brand new beds.

THE HOME
An open-plan layout where the living room, dining area, and a spacious kitchen with a peninsula flow together – this is where the whole group naturally gathers. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, induction stove, oven, large fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle) and the dining table seats six, or eight with the extension leaf.

BEDROOMS
Three bedrooms give everyone their own space:

Bedroom 1 (Renovated 2026): Double bed 180 cm (can be separated into two single beds, 90 cm each)
Bedroom 2 (Renovated 2026): Double bed 180 cm (can be separated into two single beds, 90 cm each)
Bedroom 3: Bunk bed

A fully tiled bathroom with shower, WC, underfloor heating, and heated towel rail makes even the cool May and September mornings comfortable.

OUTDOORS
A spacious deck (newly built in 2026) wraps around half the house, with three separate dining areas – one facing east for breakfast in the morning sun, one facing south for lunch under the midday sky, and one facing west for those long evenings of grilled fish and wine as the sun sets over the sea. Charcoal grill included. The enclosed garden, framed by a traditional wooden fence and hedge, lets even the youngest children run freely while you relax.

THE LOCATION
Just 200 m to a sandy beach with great swimming and plenty of space for kids to play. A short walk or bike ride through the coastal nature reserve brings you to the fishing harbour of Glommen, with its restaurant and grocery store. 10 minutes by car to Falkenberg and Skrea Strand, 30 minutes to Ullared (Scandinavia's largest shopping destination). Ample parking at the cottage for several cars.

BOOKING
