For those who prioritize rest and the sea view over the large spaces. Enjoy sitting on the terrace and watching the amazing sunsets or the boat life in the harbour. If you want bathrobe distance for a swim, you are welcome to the cabin here in Byxelkrok. Here you can park your car and walk or cycle to bathing/services/entertainment. There are wonderful walking/cycling paths from the house, which wind along the sea or in the lush Böda forest. The northern loop of the cycle path "Ölandrunt" goes past Byxelkrok. Byxelkrok is located on Öland's northernmost west coast (a pearl), which in the summer lives up to an idyllic tourist resort. With a guest harbor with space for around 150 leisure boats. In Byxelkrok during the summer there are about 10 different places to eat in the form of restaurants/cafes/pubs. Also ICA store, kiosks, galleries, small shops in the boathouses in the harbor, bicycle rental and camping sites.
From the site you can see the national park "Blå Jungfrun" which is located in the middle of Kalmarsund. There are daily boat trips from Byxelkrok to the island, also a car ferry to Oskarshamn (high season).
Byxelkrok is also one of the sunniest places in the country (according to SMHI's "sunniest").

Access; after 3 pm and leave before 11 am.
Cleaning; the cabin is cleaned after the end of the stay (vacuum and wet-dry), cleaning equipment is available in the cabin. Final cleaning can be obtained for an extra supplement of SEK 1200, ordered at the same time as the cabin is booked.
Bedding; the cottage is rented out as "Holiday accommodation", which means that the tenant brings his own bedding (sheets and pillowcases and towels). Can also be rented if desired SEK 150/pc. Ordered at the same time as the cabin is booked.
Award; Only weekly rental during high season (SEK 10,000/w, low season SEK 1,500/d.
Connection; for those who take the bus to Öland, there is a bus stop about 100m from the cottage. There is also a daily ferry connection between Byxelkrok and Oskarshamn (high season.
Parking; Right next to the cottage alt. Parking space approx. 50m.
Miscellaneous; Cottage of about 35 square meters. Suitable for a couple or small family, there is a cot/high chair for children up to one year. Open floor plan between bedroom and living room (double bed). Integrated living room/kitchen. , toilet with shower, TV, WiFi, Balcony/Terrace complete with garden furniture, cushion box, sunbeds, parasol and barbecue. The cottage has a partially secluded location, but for your information there is an additional cottage on the plot which is also rented out.
