Southern Vixen

Here is a genuine holiday idyll. This gem is situated at the Småland highland, with a private jetty and boat. Vixen is a spring lake with very clean and clear water. Here you can swim, snorkel, and go fishing. The large garden invites various activities such as cube games, and football at the same time as you have a magnificent lake view. Behind the house you have a direct access to the forest for lovely walks, mushroom picking, or other adventures. Nearest city is Eksjö ”the unique wooden city” 8km east.

The front door leads you into a spacious hallway with a clothes hanger and wardrobes. After the hallway you enter a large living room together with a dining area, and there is also a fully equipped kitchen. Passing the kitchen you´ll reach a fully equipped toilet, and the two bedrooms. You should not drink the water. You can rinse your mouth, brush your teeth, shower, and make coffee without any problems. The filter used for the water is not approved for you to drink. It is therefore recommended that you bring drinking water.

Fishing permit is redeemed via the app ifiske. If you want to fish for crayfish in August, contact Paradis fiskecamp which is located next to the lake. Ullinge Wärdshus is also located next to the lake and offers nice and well-prepared food. Here you can also rent canoes or walk in its beautiful surroundings.
The dwelling is located about 600 mts from national highway 40. Far enough from the large road to be able to enjoy the total calm, silence, and peacefulness, but with possibilities to quickly transport to the national highway and on to new adventures. Perhaps you would like to enjoy the unique wooden town in Eksjö, höglandsleden (the highland trail), the canyon in Skurugata, Kleva gruva (mine) or Astrid Lindgren´s World, just to mention a few activities and tourist attractions. The dwelling is left in the same condition as it was received. Cleaning products and utensils available in the hallway wardrobe.
