Cozy secluded cottage by the lake in Bohuslän

A newly renovated secluded summer cottage from the 1750s with a timber wall lining the Hällungen lake. It is about 600 meters down to the crystal clear lake. The cottage has all the comforts you could hope for a quiet and nice holiday. 20 minutes away is also Stenungsund with the sea, restaurants and shopping. Stenungsund is a real summer town with many bars and nice views. It is close to the islands of Tjörn, Orust and Marstrand with beautiful nature. Leisure activities such as golf (both in Stenungsund and in Ljungskile), nature reserves for hiking but also for wildlife (e.g. peregrine falcons) are in close connection with the cabin. Nice hikes and fantastic panoramic views from the surrounding mountains. A true Bohuslän gem with tranquility but also opportunities for activities.

The house is one level, with two bedrooms located in connection with each other and a sofa bed + sofa in the main room. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen and fridge/freezer, TV, shower, WC and washing machine. The house is newly renovated. Wifi via fiber is available in the household as well as possibilities for chrome cast and television. The house has an open floor plan between kitchen and living room with an open roof. There is a spacious terrace to enjoy meals in the sun.

There are opportunities to buy fishing licenses for fishing in the nearby lake Hällungen, which is a spring water lake and the drinking water for Stenungsund municipality. If you have a kayak or a SUP with you, you can put it on the beach below the cabin.

The property is alone on a hill separated from neighbors with mountains and farmland all around.

There is a balcony with seating and barbecue possibilities.

Bed linen and towels are not included but can be purchased if needed.


Parking for the car is included outside the house.


Cleaning not included, guest cleans the cabin.


The cottage is rented out weekly and changeover days are Sundays unless otherwise agreed. There is the possibility of longer rental. Just to get in touch.
