Large house near nature

Large and fresh Hälsingehus in Bergvik, by the river Ljusnan to rent weekly.

There is room for up to eight people to hang out in the house or on the large plot. The house has seven rooms, of which two living rooms, 5 bedrooms and a kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped for up to 8 people with two refrigerators, a smaller freezer etc. Five fresh bedrooms are on the upper floor, three larger bedrooms, two with a double bed, one with a bunk bed. Two smaller rooms with single beds. It is also possible to book a cot and chair for up to 3 years. Both living rooms on the lower floor have comfortable sofas. In both rooms there is TV with channels 1,2, 4, Kunskapskanalen/SVT24, BBC News and both have Cromecast, one with HiFi stereo and CD. One of the living rooms has a dining area for up to 8 people. There are two newly renovated WCs, one per floor. One has a shower with a substantial water heater. The other WC has a washing machine. Broadband is included in the house with wireless Wi-Fi with good capacity. Mobile coverage is available. The house is electrically heated and also has a heat pump, for heating or cooling. In the kitchen there is a wood stove for pleasant warmth. Firewood is included in the rent. The house is winterized and has electric elements in all rooms for chilly spring or autumn evenings.

The house has a large plot with apple trees, currant bushes, rhubarb, gooseberries and it's just picking! On the grounds there is a coal-fired barbecue and large lawns, e.g. for play. The house borders a forest, with mushrooms, lingonberries & blueberries, in late summer / autumn. In the forest there are paths, tracks (10 - 2.5 km) for running, hiking or MTB. Within walking distance is a sports field with football pitches, where IFK Bergvik plays its home matches. It is approx. 2 kilometer to the nearest bathing place in the river Ljusnan. There are several swimming spots and on cycling distance. There are parking facilities for several cars on the plot.

The house is located in the village of Bergvik. In the village there is a grocery store Coop, Pizzeria / Grill and in the summer a small museum. Söderhamn is the nearest town, approx. 17 km, and has most everything a small town can offer. It takes about 30 minutes by car to Bollnäs. The road over Segersta is very beautiful!

The surroundings of Bergvik with the river Ljusnan are very scenic. In Hälsingland there are hiking trails, bathing spots, fishing lakes, culture, churches of various kinds. We are happy to tell you more.

Discovering the area by bike is wonderful, everything from forest paths (for MTB) behind the house to gravel and small country roads. Three standard bikes can be rented as well as a Scott MTB 26 inch. In the neighboring village of Mohed there is a MTB course (Facebook: Mohed MTB-arena).

Sheets and pillowcases can be rented. Please let us know when booking the cottage. Pillows and duvets are available for all beds.

There are many small lakes, streams besides the river Ljusnan which is famous for its fishing. Ex. there are pike, perch and zander in Bergviken. There is also a local fishing club in Bergvik, which plants noble fish in two ponds (Web: bergviks-sfk .com).
