In the heart of Dalsland: Beautiful, sunny lakeside house built in 2012 with generous, contemporary living space and terrace. Fish, berries and mushrooms all on the doorstep.

A warm welcome to all those looking for a peaceful and inspiring getaway in a stunning setting overlooking Lake Örsjön.

The Stuga sleeps optimally up to 4 people. Can sleep more on request. Please contact the host.

1st bedroom: 1 kingsize double bed (180 cm)
2nd bedroom: 1 double sofa bed (140 cm)
sitting room: 1 double sofa bed (140 cm)
additionally a single collapsible bed (80 cm) and a baby cot (55 cm * 115 cm) is available.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has a view across the neighbouring field and south side of the lake.
The sitting room has a wood burning oven and french windows opening onto the large (27 sqm) west facing private terrace, directly overlooking the lake.
From the terrace it is just 1 minute down the hillside steps to the lake, with a ladder from the jetty for swimming and a fire bowl for grilling.
With floor heating throughout the ground floor (and radiators upstairs), the cottage offers a comfortable stay in all seasons.

The hosts' house is approx. 20 metres away from the cottage but the layout allows guests to enjoy complete privacy both inside and on the terrace of the cottage.
Garden and lake access is shared with the hosts.

Arrival time: 16.00 h / departure time: 10.00 h. If there is not a booking directly before or after, these times may be flexible. Please check with the owner.

Warm water + basic heating (floor heating + upstairs radiators) is included in the rent

Electricity is excluded: will be charged at the actual price of electricity at the time of your stay

Bed linen + towels available on request: 150,- SEK per person and stay
(availability depending on number of guests)

Use of washing machine or tumble dryer (in cellar of hosts' house): 40,- SEK per use

Final cleaning available on request: 1.500,- SEK

The location of the house is perfect: on a large ground directly at the lake. The house is built according to sustainable criteria - with well-insulated walls, triple-glazed windows and heat pump. The rooms are bright, spacious, the Scandinavian style furniture met our taste. The kitchen is very well equipped and of high quality, including CD player with rich music collection. The hosts are very warm and give good tips for the stay, such as activities and excursions.

Stugan och omgivningarna var ännu vackrare än på bilderna. Vi uppskattade värdparets ansträngningar att hjälpa oss med stort och smått. Att vi hade med barn var inget problem, snarare uppskattat. Bryggan med badstege och grill är magisk och det finns så mycket att upptäcka i närområdet. Huset var välutrustat, fräscht och fint inrett. Ett ställe vi gärna återvänder till!

We had a wonderful time in the red stuga. Lucy and Mats are the perfect hosts and our Kids loved the hosts’ cat. As a guest you enjoy the privacy you want and you still have the feeling of visiting friends. In case of any problems or questions, Lucy and Mats are always ready to help and they also gave us good tips for activities in the area. We felt very welcome. The house is perfectly equipped, it is lovingly furnished and very clean. The view of the lake is fantastic. We often sat on the terrace or had a barbecue down by the water. The location is great if you like a lot of peace and pure nature - like we did. We will be very happy to come back again.
