Åre Björnen Outdoor Area

Fantastic view over the Åre valley and mountains. Ski in/Ski out-läge. Cosy appartment with a terrace facing west in the middle of much appriciated Björnen. There are three bedroms where the masterbedroom have a completley new bed, in total 8 - 9 beds. Modern kitchen with good appliances standard. Spacious dining area. Shower romm with sauna, extra WC room with laundry machine. Good storage room in the appartment plus ski storage outside. Perfect for a family with kids. Close to Copper hill and their cosy spa and excellent restaurant.

No pets or smoking allowed.
Minimum age: 25 years (not applicable to children accompanied by a legal guardian).

We stayed at Pär's cottage in February 2026 as a family of six. It was in a good state of repair and comfy, had plenty of space for all of us, suffient cookware and crockery for self-catering/cooking. A decent-sized sauna was a definite bonus. The cottage has a great view and is about 100m from the ski slope running through Björnen, but it is possible to shorten this distance to 50m when returning if one goes between trees. There is a drying cabinet and locked cupboard outside for ski storage. Pär was very quick and clear with his communications; his key arrangements were straightforward. The only issue we came across was that of a shower, because there isn't a sufficient incline or barrier for water to go in the drain and it tends to spill somewhat outside the cubicle, requiring creation of an extra border with a towel. However, despite this issue I would be happy to stay here again.

A great stay for a weeks holiday on the slopes. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen, as well as the quickly heating sauna after the long days on the slopes. We were five staying at the apartment and had plenty of room for ourselves.
