Location and Surroundings

The cottage is beautifully located in a peaceful and scenic setting between the villages of Värmskog and Klässbol, approximately 10 km from each. The property is completely secluded with no nearby neighbors, offering a quiet and relaxing stay close to nature.

Värmskog is a well-known excursion destination, especially famous for its popular summer café, often said to serve Sweden’s best shrimp sandwiches. There is also a small grocery store in the village.

Klässbol is best known for its historic linen weaving mill, which supplies linen to the Swedish Royal Family and the Nobel Banquet. The mill is open to visitors and has an on-site shop. The village also offers a charming café, a grocery store, and a pizzeria.

The picturesque village of Borgvik is located about 20 km from the cottage and features attractions such as Sliperiet cultural center, a café, and the highly regarded restaurant Borgvikskvarnen.

For shopping and services, the towns of Arvika and Grums are both about 30 km away. Karlstad, the county capital with approximately 100,000 inhabitants, is located about 60 km from the cottage and offers a wide range of shops and restaurants, including IKEA, Biltema, and Elgiganten.

The Cottage
The cottage has recently undergone extensive renovation and is in excellent condition throughout, while still retaining its traditional rural charm.
The house consists of two rooms and a kitchen, with a spacious hallway and a large, modern bathroom.
Sleeping arrangements include one double bed and one sofa bed.
The cottage is equipped with fiber internet and Wi-Fi.
Heating is provided by an air-source heat pump as well as a wood-burning stove.

All necessary kitchenware is provided, including crockery, glassware, and cutlery. A wood storage box with firewood for the stove is also available in the kitchen.

Sofa bed, coffee table, and armchair with footstool
Wood-burning stove

The garden offers outdoor furniture and a charcoal grill.
Charcoal and lighter fluid must be provided by the guests.

Swimming
A pleasant public sandy beach for swimming is located approximately 3 km from the cottage.

Final Cleaning
