Well-equipped cottage in Stockevik, Fiskebäckskil, Skaftö, very nicely located with about 300 mts to salty baths and circa 600 mts to Skaftö Golf Club, around 20 minutes’ walk to Fiskebäckskil and about 25 minutes’ walk to Grundsund.
The cottage is of 25m² + loft with 4 berths, all tiled bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen (tiled), homely large room with substantial ceilings and double doors leading out to a terrace that goes around the house, with garden furniture and a barbecue. Cosy sleeping loft with 2 berths and an openable window, smaller room with a sofa bed for two persons and wardrobes. The entire cottage has horizontal white wood panelling on the walls/ceiling and whitewashed pine floors. The cottage, which is close to swimming, fishing and golf, is divided into a main house with a kitchen, loft, bedroom and shower/toilet. In the main house there are 2 lovely wingback armchairs and a dining table with 2-4 chairs. The kitchen consists of a hob, sink, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee maker. There is a grocery store (Tempo) in Fiskebäckskil and (ICA supermarket) in Grundsund, as well as a fishmonger in both places. The cottage is close to saltwater swimming, fishing, kayaking and diving. For the little ones there are many opportunities for crab fishing. There are playgrounds in Stockevik and Fiskebäckskil. In the picturesque fishing communities of Fiskebäckskil and Grundsund there are several restaurants and pizzerias.

Tips for activities:

You can rent kayaks, motorboats and bicycles on the island. There is a sailing school in Grundsund. From skafto.com you can download a cycling map showing walking and cycling routes between Fiskebäckskil and Grundsund etc. On that site you can find information about the swimming spots on the island and other tips about what you can do here.

On the pier outside Gullmarsstrand in Fiskebäckskil you can train for free with Friskis & Svettis for a few weeks starting July 1. There is a mini golf course next to the pier. There are 2 golf courses, Skaftö GK with a much appreciated 18-hole course that is of high class and Näreby golf (9-hole "pay and play" course). From Fiskebäckskil you can easily reach Lysekil by taking the passenger ferry to Lysekil. If you choose to go by car to Lysekil, take the free car ferry between Skår and Finnsbo.
