Idyllically situated holiday home

The house is located in a picturesque environment in Västergötland, Örsås, 14 km from Svenljunga. It is situated in a very quiet street. On one side the forest begins and on the other side there is a big wide field. If you are lucky you will see an elk right outside the door.

The idyllically situated holiday home is a very well maintained ground floor bungalow and offers enough space for up to six people. With a living space of approx. 100 m² it is situated on a large approx. 1.650 m² natural property. The cottage has a large living room with a wood-burning stove (which can be used to heat the entire cottage), a large dining room with open kitchen, two bedrooms with large double beds (1.8 x 2.0 m), a children's room with a bunk bed (0.9 x 1.9 m; due to its height the lower bed is more suitable for children). For your entertainment, the living room also offers a television with Swedish and German (HD) channel reception, Bluray player (also suitable for DVD and audio CD) and home cinema system. The kitchen is more than fully equipped with an electric cooker with ceramic hob and convection oven, extractor hood, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, Senseo coffee pad machine, toaster, tea maker, kettle, egg boiler, waffle iron and as an added bonus there is an old stove with enamel lining. The dining area has a table with six chairs and a high chair for children (Tripp Trapp). Furthermore there is a cosy winter garden and a bathroom with shower and WC.

Adjacent to the winter garden is a wind-protected wooden terrace with seating furniture and Weber grill, which offers a magnificent view and is located on the southwest side. There is also a lawn for sunbathing and a sandbox on the property. There are two parking spaces for your cars on the property.

The water is pumped directly from a 50 m deep well and is of the same quality as drinking water. The special equipment includes a sauna (infrared heat cabin). The energy costs are charged according to consumption. A washing machine, dryer and internet (fiber optic) are also available for a comfortable stay. The house is heated by air heat pump, wood-burning stove and electric heaters. Thanks to the good insulation the house is also winterproof. Due to the steps to the entrance and the winter garden the house is not barrier-free. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this holiday home and smoking is not allowed in the entire house.

There are only a few neighbours in the area. Here you can find absolute silence and you can relax wonderfully. In autumn there are lots of mushrooms and berries, some of them already on the property. Fishing enthusiasts will find numerous fishing possibilities in the surroundings. There are also many beautiful lakes for swimming or boating. Various hiking trails start from the house and lead into the beautiful, extensive nature. Enjoy the nature also on the water. A boat for rent is available at the lake "Fegen". In good weather you may even see sea eagles here.

Borås is 48 km away and Gothenburg 102 km. If you arrive by plane, the airport Gothenburg-Landvetter, which is just an hour's drive (89 km) away, is a good choice. Shopping facilities, restaurants, cinema, a library and much more can be found directly in Svenljunga or in nearby Tranemo (21 km). Other cities in the area are Borås (approx. 42 km) or even Gothenburg (approx. 100 km), Sweden's second largest city after Stockholm.
The surroundings of Svenljunga invite you to explore the near and far surroundings. Enjoy the wide open spaces of nature, for example on walks, a boat trip and bicycle tours. Or visit well-known and still undiscovered places and sights. You will find a zoo or an elk park in the surroundings, but also museums and amusement parks.
