The house is located on the island of Orust on the west coast. Orust offers sun, swimming and rocks. There are picturesque fishing communities here. It takes just under an hour to Gothenburg with, among other things, Liseberg (amusementpark)or north to Nordens Ark (zoo).

ON WALKING DISTANCE
The house is located on a hillside with proximity to swimming and the village center. Only 5-7 minutes walk you have both a swimming area, with rocks, sand and jetty and if you walk towards the center there is a pizzeria and a grocery store.

The surroundings / plot
The house is last located on the owner’s plot, but it is situated higher than the owner’s house, which makes it feel like you live on your own plot.

It is prefect for you who have small children or a small, kind dog you want to bring, because the plot is completely fenced (dog only on request). It is also possible to park the car right next to the plot.

There is a terrace around 3 sides of the house, with several seats, a deck chair and an electric grill.

The house
Entrance floor:
The house was built just a few years ago, so it is very fresh with lots of nice details. When you enter the house directly to the left you have the fresh bathroom, with both shower and washing machine.
Directly after the bathroom is the “parents bedroom” with a comfortable double bed.

Then comes the wonderful kitchen. Here is everything for a comfortable holiday. Large sliding doors leading out to the wonderful terrace.

To the right directly inside the front door, the stairs go up to the loft.

The loft
The loft has a sofa, TV and two single beds. The sofa can be made out for two children. An Apple TV and speakers are also available here.

SVANESUND
Svanesund is a small community that is gathered along the beautiful Hakefjoden, on eastern Orust. Svanesund has a pizzeria, grocery store, nice swimming area, with newly built playground and here there are also nice walking areas. From Svanesund there is a car ferry so you can easily get over to the mainland and Stenungssund, which has shops, restaurants etc.

NOTE, A cat called Siv lives in the house next door and may visit from time to time. Siv is a beautiful black, kind cat.

More to do on Orust & Tjörn
Pilgrimsleden on Orust is eight mil long and connects eight churches. It runs in a loop and forms an eight. see link for Fun on the island. Göksäter where you find lots of cheap and “good to have things”. Töllås sheep farm has a wonderful cafe, where also you can buy vegetables from the garden plot. Tavlebods honey farm, shows in a very educational way how bees live and make honey. There is also a café with good coffee and honey candies to buy. A day trip to Gullholmen or Kärringön is a must, the ferries go from Tuvesvik.

The traditional Sundsby Säteri on the island of Tjörn is not only about history, its kitchen garden and footpaths through stunning scenery. There is also a restaurant here with very good meals and home-baked cakes in the courtyard café. In the summer you can buy freshly baked bread in the farm shop. They serve excellent “fika” (Swedish for coffee and pastry, coffee can be substituted with other beverages) and different honey products are for sale.
