Cottage on Frösön in a scenic location

A cottage in Västbyn, Frösön, boasting a fantastic rural setting.
Located 500 mts from Lake Storsjön, with the Oviksfjällen mountains and Åreskutan as a backdrop. Enjoy long forest walks right on your doorstep. In winter, there are ski tracks to enjoy.

The cottage sleeps six, with accommodation split between two separate sections of the house. The main building features a kitchen, dining area, and a common area.

This section also includes a sleeping loft with two beds.
The other section of the house contains a bedroom with four beds, a shower, a washing machine, and a toilet.
A barbecue and outdoor furniture are provided.


A beach with a jetty is within a 10-minute walk; the lakebed is somewhat rocky. A large public sandy beach is located in Västbyviken, approximately 1.5km away.
A bus stop with a service to Östersund is about 1 km away. The distance to Östersund is 15km.
Dogs are welcome.
Smoking is permitted outdoors only.
Minimum rental period: 1 night.
Swap days Sundays when renting by the week.
Firewood bag SEK 80/each (approx. 40 l).

Cleaning services can be purchased for SEK 2,000. This is booked at the same time as the reservation. (Cleaning services cannot be booked during weeks 24–33.)
Bed linen and towels can be booked for SEK 150 per set.
