Lakeside cottage by Lake Saltsjön 18km from Stockholm. Rowing boat!

Charming Lakeside cottage next to the of ancient lineage Villa Gustafslund. Built in 1890 as a traditional boathouse, gently renovated in the last years. The jetty with a sundeck surrounds the cottage in three directions. The living area is 35m² on the ground floor with an open planning, plus another 35m² on the first floor/loft with standing height in the middle and sloping on the sides. Half French window doors lets the sunshine in with generous measures. The ground floor has beautiful tiled floors with floor heating. Good kitchen space with cooker and oven, micro and fridge and freezer. Separate dining area by the window, - or set the table outside on the jetty if the weather allows you to! Perfect for the barbeque! Washing machine with drier nicely built in the wall. All tiled shower with separate WC. Air conditioning and/or heating from air diffuser. 2 windows also to the south on the ground floor. Sofa down stairs and a large double bed on the first floor with a lake view. If you have children there are two spare foldable beds available. The landlords live in the main building up the hill about 50 mts from the lake where you also can park your car. It’s a scenic area and very peaceful with lots of visits from amongst other deer’s together with a rich bird life near by. The house is located by a dead end road with a minimum of traffic but you can’t see the road from the house. Near the nature reserve Velamsunds Naturreservat which offers alternative forest walks or skiing during winter. Illuminated tracks for jogging and/or skiing. Just 10 minutes to Orminge Centre with everything such as supermarkets, shops and community services. Bus to Stockholm (Slussen) departure at least once per hour from bus stop within 600 mts. The boat Waxholmsbåt to Stockholm or out to the archipelago moor by the jetty Risets brygga, about 1,5km away. We welcome dogs and our partly fenced adult garden is wonderful for the dogs to run around in, not to mention the beach to swim from!!

Road description:
From Stockholm Värmdöleden (national highway 222) from Slussen or Söder. Exit Orminge and then from G: la Värmdövägen towards Gustavsberg. Exit to the left after Boo k: a (church) towards Kummelnäs/Vikingshill, thereafter exit to the right towards Vikingshill. At Skånska Gården take right onto Almdalsvägen and then first left onto Björkuddsvägen and drive to the end of the road. Sign posted parking here at Gustafslund.
