Charming cottage w. sauna and a private dock

Charming modern little cottage with a cozy fire place, a 2 minute walk from a private dock and swimming in the clean lake, a sun deck for
BBQ-evenings while watching the sunset over the lake. Perfect for skiers in the winter, with ski and skate tracks right on the lake!
Wifi and tv. The wood-fired sauna is nice to use all year around.

The cottage is in the village Näset, 5 km from the village Älvdalen in a beautiful,
quiet area in the woods.

Renovated country-style kitchen fully equipped with everything you need, lika microwave, tea kettle, waffle iron, mixer, coffe brewer etc...
2 bedrooms in the cottage - a master bedroom with a double bed, 2 closets, TV and dvd and a view of the lake, and a bedroom with a Full Size bed (140 cm) and storage..

The family room has a dining table for up to 6-8 people, a cozy sofa corner by the fire place, TV, Sonos speaker and lots of board games.

During the summer the cottage gets an extra room when you open up the door to the veranda to enjoy breakfast or dinner with a view over the lake. Room for 8-10 dinner guests. A grill for BBQ is provided as well as the traditional Swedish viking game "kubb".

Separated guesthouse with a bedroom with a double bed as well as a single bed, WIFI. A babycot can be arranged upon request.

The cottage has 1300 square meter garden/forest, a garage/guesthouse and as well an old outhouse from the 16th century, and an old traditional fence surrounding it. It is located in the woods, with few neighbors (however we have the helpful cottage hosts Torbjörn and Ulla next door should you have any questions or need anything : ) Here youre always close to nature and it is easy to relax. You can pick rubarb in the garden and blueberrys and mushrooms in the forest next to the cottage. Enjoy a swim in the lake before breakfast!

Älvdalen (a five-miute drive away) has food markets pizzeria, pub, a hotell with a restaurant and out door seating and café/bakery, farmacy, liquorstore (Systembolaget), sports store. We also have a public indoor swimmingpool (50 meter and a kidspool with a waterslide, saunas, jacuzzi etc), minigolf, a stable with horses if you like horsebackriding, an indoor ice rink with free skating, amazing ski trails in the woods (also 5 km lit up trail for nightskiing). You can rent canoes by the river that runs through the village (the name "Älvdalen" means River Valley : ).

You have the skiing areas of Sälen, Grönklitt, Gopshus, Idre Fjäll within reach (about 1 hour drive).

Directions:
40 km north of Stockholm: Take road 70 through Sala-Avesta-Hedemora-
Falun/borlänge-Rättvik-Mora-Älvdalen or E4 throught Gävel-Falun.

30 minute drive from Mora to Älvdalen.

Continue through Älvdalen, towards Rot/Näset.
Take a right in Rot, then right again towards Näset. Continue 2 km towards Näset.
Take a left on Sjövägen and continue 1 km till you see the red cottage (with
garage/guesthouse) on the left hand side.
