Resarö is characterized by proximity to the sea, beautiful views, green surroundings and narrow winding roads where the pace is low. The island has several beaches where the closest is located 250m from the house. Within short distance are also football pitch, tennis courts, ICA grocery store (open 8-21), restaurant, café and kayak rental.

The location in the archipelago provides a perfect base for day trips by boat, where Vaxholm (5km) is the hub for nice trips the central and northern archipelago (Grinda, Finnhamn, Möja, Santahamina etc.).

Vaxholm is a charming town with a large variety of restaurants, pastry shops, boutiques and art galleries. The municipality also houses Bogesundslandet, with fantstic forrest scenery and great hiking trails.

On Resarö prevailing tranquility whilst being easy to get to Stockholm. By car 30 minutes, the direct bus from ICA 35 minutes alternatively boat from Vaxholm about 1 hour.
