ostafishing.se Swim, play and relax on the fantastic sandy beaches that surround Östa peninsula by Dalälven. Paddle or hike to explore the unique wilderness in the nature reserve and national park. The diversity of species is great here and you will have a good chance to, amongst others, see White-Tailed eagle and osprey. Fish, here you will find northern pike, zander and bass. Hike in the nature reserve on marked trails that are equipped with wind shelters and barbeque spots. The Kyrkstigen has nice nature and cultural areas. In the near surroundings you can visit Ingbo springs, Gysinge factory environment with a Nature room, country store with an ”old touch and Gysinge building conservation. Also visit Gårdsjö Moose Park for a moose safari, Sala silvermine, Olpersgården.
The cottage is situated in a cottage village and has three bedrooms ( in two of them - bunkbeds) and a kitchen combined all-purpose room. Dinner area, furniture with TV. Shower/WC, washingmachine. Road 72 between Uppsala and Sala. Take off towards Gävle/Tärnsjö just west of Heby at road 56. After about 25km, turn left towards Östa, Camping and Färnebofjärden’s Nationalpark, after 300 m turn right then after 100 m turn left and drive 10 km to Östa stugby. You will see the cottages on your left side just before the camping. Drive directly to cottage Nr 6.
